One of the hardest things to deal with when it comes to addiction is all the lies that come with it. Lies become a habit and it breaks down all communication. We don’t tell our parents that ‘Hey, I’m going out Friday night, going to get really drunk, do some drugs, and may not come back for a couple of nights.’ We lie to our parents, we lie to our friends, we lie to strangers, and we even lie to ourselves.
David explains the nature of this habit during addiction and how it changes during addiction treatment.
Who is David?
David Pavlus is the founder of the Last Door Recovery Society, a non-profit organization that has been providing addiction recovery service for over 30 years. His leadership style is often considered unorthodox, but he has undeniably inspired 1000’s of lives and directly influenced them to get sober and lead great lives.
