Vegan diets could lack a lot of nutrients like Vit B12, Folic Acid, Iron,etc. And animal foods nutrients are better absorbed. Yet you can be a healthy vegan if you consider the right options. However a balanced high protein diet of both plant and animal foods (not cruelly sourced or mass produced) is the healthiest for most of us. Its also ok to be animal based or carnivore.
