In the televised broadcast we can hear checo request the inters. I don’t know if Max did also. Checo was also genuinely faster all weekend, I don’t know how max would’ve qualified on the last lap on Saturday. Checo was red bull’s best chance of winning that Grand Prix. Also I think the race reported that max would’ve been stuck behind Alonso if he would’ve pitted first

I'm sure even Max was happy for Checo for winning Monaco.

Checo was faster than Max all weekend long. And he was also helped to the win with Sainz being held up by Latifi. There was no save pit window for Max. It would have been very risky favoring the strategy to Max which could prevented a Red Bull win. Jos should not complain. This is the first time in years Max has been beaten by a teammate and I think Max will have the upperhand in most of the upcoming races.

Red bull pitted Perez to undercut/cover the Ferraris like they always do. So from now on Red Bull should always pit Max first regardless of where other teams are/strategy since he is the defending champion. Max's dad is a joke. If it wasn't for Ferraris blunder of Leclerc, Perez wouldn't have won. Plus the track is very narrow someone could have been killed had there been a wreck in the rain.

I'm glad I wasn't raised by someone like Jos Verstappen.

If jos would have control about team decisions, he would be the one letting schumacher pass barichello in the last corner of the gp like ferrari did in early races of a season. Absolute relentless opinion, teams have two drives. Checo helped max so hard in his entire red bull carreer, now its time for checo earning his victorys (if he deserves it).

As a Max Verstappen fan, i'm deeply dissapointed in Jos. Checo did a good job and he deserves to win races as well. I would like to see Max become a world champion again, but he has to fight for it!

Jos must be a major pain in the ass to Horner and Helmut head (pushy bossy parents suck) but they can't tell him to piss off and risk upsetting their top drivers father. He's not a happy easy going guy like Checo's dad who shows up and is what he should be... ... the proud parent who let's his son be his own man and not try to live his life through him.

I mean, to be fair, Checo was slower in qualifying but Max had to abort his faster lap cause Checo crashed. Checo was also slower in the race, cause he allowed the gap to Sainz to grow, but after he pitted, Max started shrinking the gap to Sainz. So I can see where Jos is coming from tbh, especially when they are in a championship battle. But at the same time, Checo isn't RB and Max's slave, like come on. He was in front because of circumstances and it would be wild to just bump him down for Max's sake.

Checo was ahead, thats why Checo got first choice to pit first. RB needed to, and did, get tbe best results for the team, not best results for MV. Father, and son both have to grow up. Who do they think they are.
