I also once had a near traumatizing experience with water, I was at the beach with my step brother and sister. a water toy we were playing with drifted away, I thought I can get it but then it started drifting out I almost had but then my feet were almost leaving the ground so I thought too late and so I to head back to the beach but I couldn't swim and the waves were like carrying me away but then someone came into the water and pushed back to the shallow area. I remain un-traumatised
