I got one of these as a replacement for the Wright 78900 (?), which is pretty close and is said to be its replacement. The shape is rounded, so the window trim piece will need to be radiused to accept the new part. The old Wright part was straight. I filled the resultant gap with some rolled up brown paper and could putty the thing flush. It works great. These are 30 year old Hurd windows that are fine, but just one crank stripped out. I did not find the square style anywhere, but I guess they are available.
Thanks for the tip and message we still have a few of the old square style left. They can be ordered on our website. But once gone the only replacement option will be the ellipse style. Both styles can be ordered here on our website www.windowpartscenter.com/products/truth-split-arm-operator?_pos=1&_sid=3f67b3788&_ss=r
