@@TheReelRahim Thats a dangerous response to a newbee I have many questions lol. Recent got the DJI FPV. Had a few flights, few hours on sim. I am contemplating buying a smaller drone to practice acro on so I dont brake it but your videos are giving me inspiration. I mean it does have emergency brake so I can take it slow. Can you switch from manual mode back to normal while in air maybe for easier landing? Also curious what method you use to get video off your SD card on what you use to edit on? Im no programer for sure but wondered what be easiest way to record,upload,maybe minimal editing add song call it a day, repeat lol

Aint dangerous if it helps u out in the skies 🤟🏽 So here goes : 1) Great idea to get a whoop sized drone to practice. But heres e deal, no point getting a cheap drone if it dont have manual (Acro) mode. So a good worthy cinewhoop to go for is GepRC's cinelog series or BetaFPV Beta75 (iv owned these myself, n they are great 👍🏼). But its a whole new commitment going into DIY. Your DJI Goggles can be used, but u will still need an RC Controller, loads of batteries, dedicated charger, programming software, spareparts, etc. "DIY is cheaper" is a lie. This is comi g from a DIY builder myself 😅 2) yes if u are not ready to land in Manual mode, just flip it to S or N. Its very convenient, and lets u goggles off and check surroundings b4 landing 3) i work off a laptop (macbook) and edit on Final Cut Pro X. For a start, i bring it into FCPX and then cut what i dont need, splice it all together with pacing of a non-copyright song (from Epidemic Sound). Thos ensures i can upload to various socials without being flagged or have my audio silenced. Hurts like a bitch, especially if u have taken a couple of hours to put it together, uploaded n not hear anithing or episode taken down. For a start, u could use free editing software for computer or mobile editing. They may even come w non-copyright tunes. This is e limitation, and output may also be limited to a smaller res like 720p or 1080p. Try out first and see if this workflow works for u. Perfectly fine to just upload the raw video of your flights too, and maybe narrate it to give context to your experience. It is your creation, share it w e world 🤟🏽

Sorry I missed this. You're most welcome! Actually they are meant to soften the centre zone of the controls. May be too soft for some, but will make for easier learning, and when you proceed to fly cinematic cruises, these are perfect. For me at least. Aniways hope the journey has been smooth for you. A good custom rate setting will really make flying a better experience. If u feel u need more of here or there, go for it! Make that adjustment. Then u can call it your own custom. If it fails, u know u can always come back here. 🤟🏽

Be good to see this updated for the Avata which is designed for slow smooth cinematic flying. I am struggling to keep my pitch and roll under control, so I have pushed up the expo, but will now adjust the centre sensitivity. I plan to fly indoors a lot so will fly normal and take the stress out of trying to keep level, but a tutorial will help if you have one planned.

IT HAS TO HAPPEN MAN. Actually starting a weekly Avata Tutorial Series soon, starting next week. For now, these rates will do, and by bumping up expo is the right thing to do. DJI did say it could do manual mode, but nobody said it was easy! Keep practicing in the sim dude, you will do just fine. Take short sprints at it. Long hours in the sim will tire you out. 10-15 mins max is what I'd push.

Sorry I missed this. Been away for awhile. She may be your franken, but if the heart is still strong, it will stay in the skies for a long time. But seriously, if finances is right, get some parts replaced for air worthiness. But u could also go another route. If the costs of repair is too high, there could be a used DJI FPV for cheap. Just bind and send it! See you in the skies!

Take your time with it! Its a great journey. See other episodes first, and spend time on the simulator. Always a better idea ro spend time on virtual practice b4 sending it in the skies. Manual mode is a different beast.

@@TheReelRahim There are two options. Russian subtitles are available if you watch the video from the desktop version of the browser. You can watch more with Russian subtitles from your mobile phone if you enable the "personal computer version" function in your browser settings, continue shooting videos as before, now I understand you)))

I used your rates and they were great! It felt smooth. I could do smooth s curves and more cinematic flying. But I ended up crashing it last minute because the drone is so underpowered so it didn't catch the drone fast enough.

These should be good for u. They are soft and steady for the small movements of the sticks to provide good cinematic control, and also allows for fast spins at full stick deflection if you want to do rolls and spins. You could also test rates in the DJI Virtual Fly app first to have a feel before you use them on your drone.

Hi Gonzalo🤟🏽. Answers coming in upcoming series of episodes. But e short answer for now is that i usually dont stabilize my DJI FPV footage on post processing. Sometimes i use the in-built camera stabilization, but i prefer without. Only IF REALLY REQUIRED. Flying without stab, lets me see the micro adjustments that i make. Having it ON makes flying feel muted. So i focus on the flying, and pride in flying my smoothest. Yes i use ND filters to get a desired look to the footage, and colours too. All in future eps 🤟🏽

Iam also trying to fly without the stab, beacause of the crop of the image as I saw in one of your videos, I found the footage to much "zoomed" if I use the EIS and the other stabilization. Btw, how are the prop adapters going? Are you still with the same opinion about those? The prop wash decrease dramatically? Wich props you are running now? Nice to hear frm u friend. Yup im still on the adapters, and still on the Gemfan 5236. Since its working well for me for smooth flying, im just sticking w it. For me, propwash happens when its a sudden close and open throttle in turns, so i counter it w better throttle control, and dont make sudden direction changes. All part of flying smooth. Takes awhile, but well worth practicing smooth flying. High focus though ✌🏽

You are most welcome! And damn that propwash! In reality, this drone is imperfect in its PID tune, as it actually jitters ALOT. But its video stabilization does an EXCELLENT JOB of hiding that. Greetings! I would recommend the settings on the right. Refer to roll Max Rate is 890. Its not so fast, AND ITS SMOOTH. Not so reactive and soft in the centre. Try setting it on the DJI Virtual Fly sim and have a feel. 🤟🏽

Hi Good Morning! Actually its like 1am now in Sg! Lol! Well aniways, i cant say there is such a thing as just 1 setting to recommend. What i will recommend is try the original rates, my old rates and also these new rates, all on the simulator. Whatever feels right for you, then fly with that for a while. Then you may want to use it in your actual drone and adjust it from there. Adjust 'Max Rate' for faster or slower spins and flips. Adjust 'CS' for softness. 20 softest, 200 for very sensitive. Hope that helps!

Hi! 20 is very soft, 200 is very sensitive. Safe to try. Try both and see what works for you.

You can use the same rates as in the episode, as its a slightly slower end stick max rate, and i have softened it in the centre zone of the sticks to make the drone less reactive for cinematic flight control.🤟🏽

It will only affect your Manual Mode. There will be no change for N and S mode. Hope that helps.

Im sorry, there is no way to invert pitch through settings as they are common to other RC controllers. There MAY be an option to PHYSICALLY swap the controls. Maybe u could try to swap the wiring in the controller, but iv never done it.

Yes they do! But if u set them on the drone, it will not be in the sim. You will have to set them too. Personally rates wise, it feels very similar to actual flying. but the overall quality of the simulator does not feel as 'real'. There are better apps out there.

Personally on the mobile, i use FPV Freerider and on the computer im using Velocidrone. Paid versions of the FPV Freerider are great but the free verbis fine to have a feel first b4 u commit. Priceless to me, as i can train w my remote aniwhere without my goggles.

I cant say im current, coz i got bugs going on with the lates ver. Step backed to an older ver. Personally prefer 'speed addict' setup. Sharp enough, good handling. Set at 20-30 deg for manageable speed.
