I cried , because he sold all of that stuff just to be nice , and he died.

Actually, he was always there. He had problems walking and couldn't buy her everything other kids had so she always blamed him for how she was treated. She didn't realize all the sacrifices he did for her and her happiness until the very end when she lost him. The actual lesson here is to always appreciate what your parents give you, to not care about what others think of your parents because in the end they always try to find a way to give you everything to make you happy. You have to appreciate what you have and who you have, if you focus on what other people say it will only make you get bitter, taking things out on those that aren't at fault. Parents love you and do whatever it takes for their child's happiness, it don't matter the obstical they will give it all up for you as their child. It's better to understand that before it's to late for you to realize it.
