That scene from UP is a masterpiece. It doesn't spoon feed the viewer, it let's them pick of the pieces and figure out what is happening. The change in music accompanying her on the death bed is timed all too well.

I will forever remember watching Endgame in the cinema because when Tony's death scene came on, there was not a dry eye in the house. People were passing tissues to each other and even holding hands to help each other get through that gut-wrenching scene. Black Widow's death scene had a similar reaction.

The thing with marley and me is that ANYONE who has had a pet knows the feelings always comes back up. Cat, dog, even rodents and fish. Seeing the death of an animal always drags it out.

I was so scared my cat was gonna die recently, she is 8 years old now and started having kidney issues for a few days, she is healthy otherwise, but gosh, I thought hearing she has chronic kidney failure was a death sentence to her, but she was treated in time and with a specialized diet she will be healthier for a long time if we manage it well. But omgosh did I cry myself crazy almost, I was also constantly watching her after picking her up from the vet each day for three days. Slept badly for almost a week because I was terrified of loosing her. My dad took her and put her on his bed so he could sleep, but still check on her. The night before we took her to the vet she was lethargic, loss of thirst and apperite, scared, and a bit dizzy

It's crazy that Pixar made a more emotional scene in the first 10 minutes of a movie than a death a movie that was the culmination of 10+ years of movies. Pixar is honestly just that insanely good.

It’s super strange how sad Up is. Because it’s not a tragedy. It’s a life lived. It’s a life WELL lived. It’s watching something beautiful end. It’s not sad it’s bittersweet. It’s effective filmmaking.

Disney really wanted us to SUFFER AND GET DEPRESSION in the up scene, they were like "oh yeah we are going to show you all then happy moments then..BOOM sadness but don't worry we have more happiness but then..DEATH, but then the whole rest of the movie is going to be happy

Animals getting putting down always gets me. We put our family dog down a few years ago and thinking of him still makes me extremely emotional. RIP George, you were the best boy 💔

😢😭😭😭 I’ve not watched the that scene from Marley & Me in YEARS for a reason.. thank you FBE.. you made me cry. The first time I seen that movie was shortly after a fur baby died and I was devastated. Watching that scene brought me to tears just like the first time 😔😭😭😭

The snape death hits the hardest. He protected Lilly’s last memory (Harry) till the very end. He truly loved her and didn’t stop. If they played snapes history before his actual death. It would’ve hit a LOT harder.

Marley & Me is the film that BROKE me. Before this I didn't cry at anything but I was SOBBING in the theatre. Having to put your dog down Is the most horrific thing because you wrestle with the guilt & sadness afterwards. You lose your best friend 😭

I was so invested in my dog, my parents didnt want her because of her health problems, I stayed with her until the end, made the decision to put her out of her misery, and did everything for her funeral and burial She was my only best friend

I remember going to see Avengers Endgame with my family, and a mom had to take her crying little son out he was distraught over Iron Man’s death. It was so cute and innocent but it makes you realize what the MCU is really doing with their projects. It was sad, but amazing!

Pets dying is the red line for me. It's something every pet owner has faced, and putting an animal down is the worst thing you'll ever have to do. You have so many doubts about whether or not it's the right time, and you're bargaining with yourself and the vet to try and postpone that moment, but it's an inevitability. We're talking about ending the life of a companion, a completely different species that we have had the ability to not only domesticate, but have had the pleasure of communicating with, and sharing an emotional bond with. That's so special, no matter if it's a dog, cat, horse, bird, or any living creature. You got the privilege of seeing their entire life, been responsible for their well-being and happiness, and they sadly do not get to live as long as we do. Being a pet owner is both the most rewarding experience, and also the most soul-destroying. That attachment is real. Animals do have the capacity to share love with us, so it's so understandable when people grieve for a long time over the death of a family pet.

Animal deaths always get me. When I was about 12 I was home alone, and my cat started having a seizure. I was freaking out and called my aunt who was a vet tech, she came and picked me and the cat up. When I was crying by the cat and said, "it's okay to go now" She died very shortly after I said that. I will never forget that. She was still a kitten btw so I was extra shook. I got her with her sister, who JUST passed away a few months ago.

When I had to put my dog down, I initially didn't think I could be there for it, but looking back, I'm glad I went. I got to say goodbye and I got to be there to comfort him.

Marley & Me really hit me. I lost my 15 year old dog 2 almost 3 years ago. And to this day it feels like no time has passed. I remember telling him how much I loved him and how grateful I was that he was apart of my life. He made me feel like I had a reason when I had no one. He made me feel wanted. He was so loyal and patient. Dog's are so loyal till the very end and it breaks my heart that there's so many homeless dogs.

God. The second one made me ugly cry for like 10 minutes. I lost my dog around- 3 years ago now.. ( holy- ) He was my very best friend. And so seeing the dog get put down and then the memories, with there being a whole wall of pictures in front of me in my room.. I also watched him get put down so the moment the dogs eyes started closing I couldn’t.

Marley & Me gets me everytime. Like I'm a big guy, in my late 20's, but that scene brings me to tears every damn time. I had a dog that developed a brain tumor years ago, and we had to put her down, I couldn't bare to be in the room at that moment, and my mum had to take her. Additionally, throughout this pandemic, the one thing that's trully got me through these past 2 years is my dog Kylo, no matter how bad of a day, that I have, his smile and company always cheers me up.
