Poor reactors. They had to skip a whole bunch of nostalgic fantasy foods of their favorite pixar movies for a stupid pizza slice that looks like it's been sitting for a day in the sun as a reward. Hell, even the punishment was more creative and it wasn't even very creative. I love pizza and I could have it every other day, but to make it a reward for skipping all that? Every single one of the do-not-eat foods would've been a better reward in terms of creativity and rational sense of reward. All the NY people gonna hate me now, but let's be real, we can have pizza all day every day in 10 minutes be it a phone call, a phone app or a walk-in. Bruh.

exactly! that is brilliant bc imagine passing all that food to get just a pizza at the end and even with no pepperoni, now don't get me wrong I love pizza, I even had for dinner last night, but the price shouldn't be something that you can get anywhere. This was the worst People vs food you have ever had. The giant cheese puff looked disgusting, did it really have marshmallow inside? Even if it didn't how on earth did you think that cheese brick would be tempting? It looked and apparently felt NOTHING like a real cheese puff. And the reward? A slice of pizza? Are you for real? I would have been pissed if I was on this episode and made it to the "reward".

I'm actually the same way and I bake. There is a lot less chocolate in a red velvet cake then there is in an actual chocolate cake. Coincidentally I also love hot cocoa. 😊

red velvet cake has a combination of cocoa powder, buttermilk, and a little bit of vinegar which creates a chemical reaction that makes that red color and a different taste than regular

@@crabrave8979 Not commonly though. Most are chocolate with red dye, buttermilk, and vinegar. Most will use so much red dye to get that bright color because it is very difficult to get that red with just fruit.

Allow me to nerd out for a minute: Today red velvet is essentially chocolate cake with food dye. Originally the cake got the red colour due to the reaction between buttermilk, cocoa and vinegar in the cake batter.

Well, this time the rules were a little different - whoever ate the MOST of the challenge foods got the punishment. So you kind of take a risk tasting 1 or even 2, since you don’t know what the other players chose to do. I think this is a better way of doing the challenge rather than their older videos.

Just binge watched all of the try not to eat videos and I am so bummed with this 2021 version. Lol. I loved the gourmet chef, the creative and intricate foods/recipes, and the video layout of the older ones! So sad. I think the world’s situation influenced this episode for the worse not the better. I still enjoy the people in the video though! They are always entertaining.

Try not to eat has come such a long way. I would love to see this concept of only the person who ate the most gets punished implemented in a newer video. I think it would be super interesting to see how differently the cast now would play under those rules!
