It's impossible not to fall in love with Avi. The very first time you lay eyes on that sweet face or hear him sing, you're a goner. The man is incredible. There's no point in even trying to not love him. It's just sad that we can't all have one like him.
When he left is about when I stopped keeping up with PTX. The entire dynamic of the group changed and I guess everyone was growing up too, which isn’t a bad thing. It’s just a little bittersweet how much it all changed. I just listened to their version of Auld Lang Syne and it made me cry. That was the first thing I’d listened to from them since Avi left. For how different they are as people now compared to 2017 and earlier, their arrangements are still super good and the new bass sounds good
