i know everyone talks about how courtney is not good at this but i don’t think i’ve ever laughed at anything ian has done

When Gus said "cause you smell like dog shit" i had water in my mouth but i didn't wanna get the floor wet so i held it in to spit it into the water bottle, and i choked and could barely breath, so Gus Johnson almost killed me

To all the people saying Courtney isn’t funny, I just have to say that, as an improvisor myself, I can wholeheartedly relate to her struggle. No matter how trained you are, people have off days. You could be so “on it” during a rehearsal, but when you get onstage, something happens that you have no real control over and your jokes just don’t land. The fact that she said “why do I keep crying” really hit close to home as someone who has really struggled with confidence in improv (I’ve said that a ton during rehearsals). Especially when you’re already bombing, it can be really hard to get it together on an off day. I appreciate her continuing to try, even if it’s really hard for her. She’s been really funny in other videos, which only cements in my mind that she was just off this time. I get that she wasn’t that great in this video, but it’s not her fault. Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to put my feelings out there ✨
