it might have just been the lighting and quality of the vid, but it looked like there was blood starting to flow down the side of his face? I do laugh at people getting hurt, I'm aweful (I know) but that just looked so painful.

For me, whether or not pain is funny is karmic. The softball player running into the fence wasn't funny because she just made an understandable mistake. The girl trying to twerk the toilet paper or the guy trying to skateboard through the shop aisle were funny because they both made conscious decisions to do something idiotic.

I laughed so hard when you cracked. I think laughter is a productive way to ease tension when bad things happen, hence slapstick comedy and pratfalls etc. It may be lowest common denominator but that base reaction is primal.

things like this that i've enjoyed recently is DnD tik toks they can be really creative and awesome. as well as Tik Toks that cured my depression series they are actually funny. also from other creators on youtube Girls Play does amazing try not to laugh/cringe/aww challenges, Jacksepticeyes try not to get anxiety is gold as well as markipliers try not to laughs though they are pretty old now.

Yeah but I mean I get it but how long into it did you watch? The whole thing? I mean truly no offense intended but if I were to get upset about that stuff and I knew that I was so inclined... The slightest glimpse of such a thing and I would stop watching. True story the other day I walked past the tv, my wife was watching something, and I took a glimpse (only a glimpse mind you) at a screen shot of a Dr. Pimplepopper commercial and boom immediately diverted my eyes and kept on walking. And you know what? Afterwards I got over it. I really hope you didn’t watch this whole episode if these things upset you. If you did my God in heaven what are you doing to yourself?

There was a game show in the early to mid 80's called "Make Me Laugh". A stand up comedian would do their act for a contestant and they couldn't laugh at them. They would save Howie Mandel for last. Not many people could get through his rubber glove over the head gag.

My little brother and me used to do this when we were kids, watching movies. We'd keep rewinding a funny part and we wouldn't let the movie play on til we made it through without laughing. It was fun. One that comes to mind is in Ernest Goes to Jail when the ink pen explodes in his mouth.

A few years ago, I was waiting for a bus when a mother and two young boys (about eight years old) passed by. The boys both had whoopee cushions and were inflating and deflating them to their great delight. Then one of the boys stuffed his whoopee cushion under his jumper and said "Look Mummy! I'm a woman and I'm going to have a baby!" and then "Now, I'm having the baby- FFRRRRTTTP!" I'm sorry, but that was one of the funniest things I ever bore witness to!

I agree 100% that watching people get hurt is not funny or even entertaining. People who get their laughs from other people's pain are sadistic sociopaths. True humor is laughing with other people, not at them.

I lost the challenge on the very first one, so i'd be terrible at these. This type of video is a good way to engage with people who haven't seen a particular movie or TV show (and therefore can't get the most out of the reaction videos) so I think it would be nice to see more like this. Also, you're adorable. I hope you've been OK lately.
