Only the roosters flog people. I grew up on a farm & we had several chickens & 2 mean-ass roosters. The roosters would hide behind a bush next to the back door for HOURS waiting for me to come outside. I was 6. One day next to the barn, I saw the rooster, so I climbed up & sat on the top of the corral, a wooden fence with wide flat board across the top that's easy to sit on. Didn't realize he could fly up to where I was! He stood on top of the corral...8 feet from me. I was thinking really hard about my options. But I'd have to squeeze through a barbed wire fence, which was between me and the back door. Doomed & sweating. No way I could make it. I scooted 1 foot further from him & then he scooted toward me 1 foot. I scooted another foot & he did too. No end there, so I ran for it. He got me going through the barbed wire fence! I ran all the way to the house with a rooster on my head! Have a severe feather phobia!! You can't imagine!
They can be entertaining. We hac one that would fly up at us, wing whipping us. I would grab him , tuck him, on his back into the crook of my arm and start rocking him....singing Rock a bye rooster , you little shitheel, do this again and you're our next meal..... then set him down and he would wobble off on 2 feet and a wing ... but would then wait by the back door for me to come out and do ankle attacks
They didn't get another chance on our farm. We had chicken 🐔 for dinner. When I was much older we got this rooster from someone else and he started this stuff with me one day. Guess what I did? Not this time, too much work picking all those feathers dudes. I kicked him across the yard and when he came back at me we danced! With a piece of firewood you can teach a pea sized brain he ain't the biggest cock in the backyard! I came close to killing him tho. And my grandpa had some mean as Hades geese. I volunteer to help him kill them if he wanted a goose for Thanksgiving or just dinner. Grandpa laughed at me and told me they were his attack 🤬 squad. Great for keeping people he didn't want in his barnyard out and very noisy about it also. So if you don't like dogs get you a gaggle of geese and no one will dare come into your yard ever.

I was a 5 year- old child when my grandpa's rooster attacked me, had 5 holes in my knees, a lot of scratches and was scared to death. On the next day we had chicken soup for dinner.
We had Roscoe the rooster, we had a stick outside our backdoor. He had me stuck on the picnic table once for an hourish till hubby finally heard me screaming! Try hanging clothes on a line with one stick in your hand? Loved my hubby, they ran laps around yard every morning, until hubby worked on bottom of boat. Roscoe got the "wrench" instead of the "belt", like we did as kids.

Worst mistake is kicking a turkey, 1 they are stronger then they look ,2 their claws will hurt if they kick you & 3 you kick them it makes them mad and want to keep going after you, your best bet is to grab a big stick and look at them in the eye and tell them NO and slowly walk back,we had a Tom turkey and he was more of a hen& duck protector then aggressive but he did get very mad when I would pick up a hen thinking I'm hurting it and would try and kick me so I would grab the big fishing net pole and he would run away.
Roosters can draw blood with those sharp spurs. It hurts. Get on your head? They can dig their talons into your scalp and peck your skull as they beat you with their wings. It hurts, I know. I used to have one that was so mean I couldn't collect the eggs. Eeek

One of my aunts had a Bantam rooster that was super aggressive, but he only attacked me once when I was 14. He flew at my face when I was going out to the barn with my uncle. I punch that bird with everything I had only to watch it bounce back up and come at me again. I gave it another solid punch and bounced it off a big old pine tree. He jumped right back up again but apparently decided he preferred to go harass my aunts Chihuahua.
@@KayKay-ii3lr Lol! To be fair I was reacting out of pure fear with that crazy bird flying at my face. He also shouldn't have messed with ol' Sweetpea either as that Chihuahua was a little terror and tore that rooster a new one. Sweetpea had to go to the vet for stitches, but the rooster went in the stew pot for supper.

А мой приставал , как только поправлялся от боли от ран в туалет невозможно было сходить , приходилось очередной раз наказывать , отец сказал что такого петуха продавать нельзя , что глаз кюнуть может человеку , а потом мы петуха зарезали и приготовили суп .
