FYI, family of kid in bus driver video won 5 million dollar settlement with school. 7 year girl survived, but with severe scars, nerve damage, and PTSD. Was already a special needs student as is. Actual event happened back in 2015, but just settled last year. Details and such were kept mostly underwaps till then. The family waited all the way till now, school cutting a deal right as it was about to go to jury. Driver obviously fired, negligent driving, ran a red, but all that is a separate matter.

Fun fact: the bus driver who dragged that little 7 year old girl was fired and sued for 20 million dollars but ended up having to pay 5 mil I say she should pay the full 20 mil given that girl now suffers from PTSD and is apparently going to be disfigured for the rest of her life AND THE BUS DRIVER BLAMED EVERYONE BUT HERSELF AND SHE HAD BEEN WARNED FOR RECKLESS BEHAVIOUR MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE

Problem is, it's not the driver who has to pay any of that. It wouldn't be possible for them to regardless, unless you quadrupled their lifespan, but it sucks cos they pay a much smaller fine and court costs. The city pays most of it, which means the taxpayer just paid the 5 mill. I'm still glad the driver caught multiple charges though, I hope she got prison time.

When I was back in high school I had a group of friends that I used to hang out with and play a hybrid free-for-all soccer with a tennis ball. One day we decided to try a playing ping pong with a tennis ball and our hands as paddles. lol.

@@passionsquietrage Well no, it wasn't painful at all. Hitting a tennis ball with an open palm is like nothing really. Especially when you are 16 years old. But if you mean the free-for-all soccer, not painful either. We had one goal keeper and like Six of us all trying to score on him. Whenever there were 8 or more we made two teams and played regularly. Using backpacks as goal posts and just trying to squeeze 6 kids into one tiny corner of a hallway was what made it so fun. We could rebound off the walls and do trick shots. The best days of my high school life.

School buses are not quiet. Every kid is talking and screaming at once; no, you can't hear someone shouting outside the door. I've a friend that drives a school bus and just from what he's mentioned over the years that driver failed to check to make sure the child got off safely, failed to check that there were no obstructions in the door, and failed to ensure that there was enough space between any childrend and the bus before pulling away.

If you dislike american cucumbers I would suggest english variety as they have a much sweeter and crispy taste :) you can tell which is which at the store as the english ones are individually shrink wrapped.
