I'm so glad to hear this! Thank you for the feedback! Let me know if there are any other products you'd like to see reviewed. Good luck with your shop!
Great review! Helped me a lot in picking a size and type of hoodie for my friend. She prefers a baggie hoodie too, so I think I might go for the extra large gildan like you did. Appreciate the comments on the print quality too, very helpful :)
Thank you for the deets! I'm a bit late doing my homework now that it's September so this really helped speed my selectionprocess. Lol @ the Phineas and Ferb part. I might just go with a Gildan until a better fitting Eco Friendly (which is my aim) option becomes available.
Absolutely! I know plenty of people who use Gildan and have no issues :) I love the Eco-Friendly option they currently offer but I do agree, it definitely bites into your margins more than I would like. I'm looking forward to when they offer more affordable options. Wishing you all the best!
my only experience with gildan is with those $2 shirts at craft stores that are uncomfortable and cheap, and with it being the cheapest option on POD it's hard to believe the quality would be any good
Personally mine have held up really well but it might be because I wash them inside out in cold water and then I let them air dry. I'm not sure if this makes a difference
Great review on the Printful hoodies. Do you have a video on how you priced your Printufl Hoodies that I can watch? I just designed a Hoodie for my RU-vid Live Stream show. and I am trying to get some information on how to properly price my hoodies, Thanks.
So glad you found it helpful! So i've done all different kinds of things. Usually I do use vector but lately i've been trying to use procreate to design and haven't had any issues as long as I set it to a big enough size to begin with
I haven't tried Printify but here's why: I'm not a huge fan of how you have to choose from different manufacturers, and if they run out, you have to reroute it to a different factory that may or may not be reliable. Additionally, I'm in a Facebook group where I constantly am hearing people complain about Printify sending out the wrong order, printing the shirt incorrectly, etc. The mistakes I've had with Printful are few and far between, and when they do occur, I LOVE how quick they are to respond. I really do feel that I'm in good hands. However, Printify definitely has better margins and the quality is most likely comparable. I just would rather deal with less fires
@@TatianaMarie Thank you for the reply! I had a failure to launch on my first store, and got samples from Printful. Most of them looked excellent, but had a couple where the print didn't look centered, which was discouraging. I'm in a print on demand ninjas group, and they talk a lot about how Printify is as good if not better than Printful in some ways and less expensive, although Printful just seems to have a better system. I'll probably go with Printful again, their prices just do seem high...but overall they definitely seem on their game!
