Very interesting technique! My mind immediately went to Dragonfruit as another possible option to use for edible paint. Dragonfruit doesn't have a strong flavor, so it probably won't affect the drink that much, but it has a really vibrant magenta color to it. Will have to try it out, thanks for sharing!

Looks good. How long do you store the paint and syrup? It would be a bit to much waste and work to do this for only one or two drinks. By the way, yesterday I tried your Fluffy Mezcal Lemonade. Great stuff. Next time I will try to replace the simple syrup with my homemade grapefruit syrup for an interesting twist.
