Your tutorials are really appreciated thank you. I have learned loads by following. Hughly revommend the CanvaOS course, as a solopreneur the course has saved me hours, made me more efficient at oroducing content and its easier to manage and i havent finished the course yet 😢
Utterly AMAZING, this really captured my attention and inspired my creativity👌🏼very impressed by your presentation. Off to watch & learn more from your other videos✅
Your tutorials are THE BEST. Thank you so very much for the amazing work and generosity in sharing. So beyond helpful for those of us just starting out and without a necessarily tech edge.
Thank you so much for your putting out these contents. I appreciate people that share the knowledge because they genuinely want people to succeed. I am working on launching my brand to promote mental health amongst Pacific Islander communities and your videos have been such a god send in helping me towards the right direction. God Bless You.
Hi Fania - thank you so much for your lovely comment! Honestly - it really means a lot to me. I am glad to be of help - and thank you for being here! 🖤
Wow! Not sure exactly when or how I will use this but I'm sure I will find an opportunity. Also I'm very new to using Canva for social so honestly just knowing how to select all is a game changer. LOL!
LOL oh I get it...there are things I learn every day that I wish I'd know years ago 🤣! Especially shortcuts and things like that to make it quicker and easier! Glad to have you here 🖤
Another EXCELLENT tutorial. You never cease to amaze me. I have been using Canva since its inception and you always give me more (genious) ways to use it. Can't wait til your course comes out! 🙂
Hi - you just came into my feed, that looks amazing! I think it would also work for Pinterest. I recently started learning it to get more views on my articles and made some animated static pins and video pins. It's a lot of fun but let's ee what the algo says :). Are you Brirtish? Thanks for the lesson, I subscribed love improving my Canva skills.
Thank you - glad to have you here! 🖤 I'm still learning about Pinterest and what works, but hopefully I can add some future tutorials that will help people with that too! And I am British...although I was born in South Africa! 😁
Simply stunning, Wayne🙏 there's just one thing - if I choose exactly the same blank template you've used, there are no slides, just static pages. What do I miss here? Thanks for your advice and also for the video, it's awesome.
Hey Ladislav! If you click the 'duration' button at the bottom left of the page you'll see it shows the slides in a 'timeline' view so you can edit timings etc. I think that should do it. 😁
@@createdbywayne I guess. There is no such button though (yes, I can see it in the video but not in my Canva layout), there is just the "Notes" button 🤔
@@ladislavsedlak9327 The other thing you could try is to use "magic switch & resize" and just ask it to switch it into a video. That SHOULD activate the timeline controls.
@@createdbywayne thanks for your help. Works not as switching to a different format changes the size (I never knew it was not possible to add a video of a custom size) and the individual pages prepared in the portrait mode instagram post get scrambled and the layout gets kinf of twisted. I can still start anew with a blank video/presentation file and recalculate the size of the squares and spacing though. I was just a bit surprised the functionality is not the same as shown, having designed a few pages already. Maybe there are some region-bound restrictions or yet-unreleased features (Czech Republic, Central Europe). Thank you anyway, I find your posts immensely inspiring.
@@ladislavsedlak9327 Thank you! Sorry I couldn't get this sorted easily for you. Last thing - can you change the format to a video but keep it at the size you are working in? But you may be right - I have discovered that some regions have access to small differences with Canva, which I can't really tell from here lol. Thanks for being here x
I will try and do something similar, but I'm afraid that was not created all in Canva. Canva can eb super powerful, but it does have its limitations sometimes 😜
When you've finished your design and added animations etc, you can just go to SHARE > DOWNLOAD and choose to download it as an mp4. Don't forget to click on the 'Duration' button on the bottom left to make sure you see the timings of the pages.
Wayne, I am a new subscriber and so happy I found your channel. I have used Canva for quite awhile but very inconsistently. Now that I am taking my branding a lot more seriously, it is a blast to see what can be done with it. I have the Pro version and it is amazing. I am always intrigued to see what treasure you uncover for me. Thank you, this was a wonderful video and incredibly helpful! ❣
You could make the lines of the third variation disappear. Another ‘twist’ could be to slide the blocks of a single image around and make it all snap in the right place at the end.
That one is not from Canva sadly, it's from an audio library called Uppbeat that I love. They have some limited free downloads too! You can check them out here: uppbeat.io/?referral=chris-xgj74
Thank you so much! Honestly it's just practice and experimentation, and finding inspiration and examples that I can try re-create in Canva. Just have fun with it! 🖤
Hello Wayne. Where have you been all my Canva life? You are by far the most engaging and clear teacher I've encountered. I've never been more eager to learn about Canva until I found YOU. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all. It's greatly appreciated. Marie - London, UK
Hello, thank you for your videos, they are great! I would like to know if we can animate an image or video on Canva, for example a perspective screenshot like this sequence: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yKAYnN1c-v8.html i.e. animate a capture, is this possible on canva? thanks to you ;)
You can add a 'drift' animation or similar to subtly animate an image, but Canva doesn't allow us to angle and image or add perspective. Not yet anyway! Also keep an eye out for tomorrow's RU-vid video 😜
Thank you so much, this is an amazing effect! I have to ask a dumb question, I cannot remove the color blocks without removing the entire picture, please help, I really want to post this! Thanks again!
Great video! I really like the intro at 0:46 sec in where you flash "stylish templates, strategic visuals, and simple tutorials." Do you have a video on how to do something like that?
Hi Wayne! Thanks for this awesome video! I couldn't wait to try it, but my Canva app looks different than yours. I can't turn this size document into a video to get the duration and animation controls. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!!
Hey Chris! On Facebook the user can change their profile settings to dictate whether videos ‘auto play’ in their feed or not. So unfortunately it would depend on their individual settings. 🤨
I just discovered this channel and love it! I've used Canva for many years but only recently to create videos. (I use a combo of Canva and Camtasia). I sell digital products on Etsy and need stylish videos - we get only 15 seconds for the listing video, so every second counts - and I can see possibilities with this visual hook. Thanks!
Just so for this tutorial you can create and see the grid of frames clearly first and it's then super easy to click and drag from any folder into those. You could do it either way
this is a great tutorial, well filmed and easy to understand. Unfortunately for the step where I'm supposed to remove the blocks randomly - instead of revealing the photo that I had placed in that particular square, it's revealing the same three photos over and over again - even though I didn't initially put that particular photo in that block- it's a bit bizarre. I have reviewed the steps and cannot see why this is happening. I'm fixing it by reinsert the correct photo into each frame. More time consuming way but wondered if there was a way to stop this. thanks
