Let's be honest, the Resident Evil movie doesn't even remember the plot of Resident Evil. What more can you say? After I finished watching the video I have to say that I loved this and it made me laugh so hard. Ok so george Romero (Dawn of the Dead) had written a script adapting the game into a movie. The studio rejected it and decided to make a prequel to the first game. A resident Evil 0 if you will. the problem is the writer (was on lots of drugs) thought he was writing a script for an Alice in Wonderland movie. So they eventually scrapper his script but didn't want to start over from scratch and thus several elements of his script made it into the movie (Alice vs the red Queen). the director (Milla Jovavich's husband) insisted on focusing the movies on Alice (played by his wife) rather than having anything to do with the games. to be fair the second movie does interject Alice into the story of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis by making Alice fight and kill Nemesis. Oh and Jill shows up to. Eventually the series starts to think its somehow the Mad Max Series (after all we started with Alice In Wonderland) and it has become famous for being so bad its good in the vein of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spaceballs and Evil dead except those last 3 movies did this on purpose while these movies had the budget to be amazing and the end result is a train wreck that has an airplanes crash on top of it and then it hit by a sharknado. And Godzilla takes a dump on it and walks away.
The animation for these videos just keep getting better. Loved the new poses for your characters. And the DP joke straight up killed me. Amazing work guys.
"I thought it was a dude, but I guess it's Michelle Rodriguez?" That's not a difficult mistake to make, she does look and act like a very feminine looking dude so often.
Haha good effort. Though I feel bad that I can remember anything from this movie since I only saw it twice and didn't care for it. I think a few people survived laser gate hell. Then they get to a big room, they shut down the Red Queen which releases the zombies, they start dying, 'Alice' does some crazy stuff. Then a guy with them turns out to be the villain who has/knows where the anti-virus is...something something he dies, that one female soldier turns into a zombie, then they fight tongue guy, and the nice guy (whoever he was) is infected, and they all get grabbed by soldiers? I don't know. The first movie was bad and then they actually got worse...
Yeah I can so relate to what ABI is going through. I have a cousin who loved all things Resident Evil (yes even the movies) and I tried watching a couple of them with them and going what the hell is happening? When did this happen in the games? How could they afford to keep making movies this bad and as you pointed out getting worse with every sequel? I mean where did they get the funding for this garbage? Also why does Milla Jovavich keep appearing nude in her movies? I have a theory. Since she has no boobs and no butt nobody cares. I would draw comparisons between her body (or the lack there of) and compare it to a preteen Justin Beiber but I don't even want to think about such a comparison.

Lore in this movies are not important but I remember the better then you do. So from what I remember Alice was a security guard acting as the owner of the mansion so no one will no that there secret laboratory under ground. Alice wakes up on the floor in the shower after being gassed A.I. that causes her to forget who she is (or she lost her memory's because she hit her self on the head....wait this shit does not matter). She puts on the red dress and looks on her picture of her wedding, this brings some of her memory's. She goes outside (director, if I am remembering correctly try's for cheap jump scary here) and then military group comes in to stop an A.I. (I am not sure about this but am sure about but am pretty sure they don't know the zombie virus) I think they found some body supposed to be security guard. So they find secret door and go to the train that supposed to take them to the labs and they find third person who we discover is husband of Alice but his actually spy, he was send to find the virus or the cute? Or both..? He meried Alice so he could get into the lab this big reason why we have zombies on loose and only reason why A.I. killed all the employs or done quarantine. After the laser room they turn of the A.I. and so with out A.I. the zombies wear loose because there wear no one to keep doors shut. One or two more soldiers die they escape to the A.I. room and they turn A.I. back on so they can hear what's going on. After some time A.I. tells to who is left that one of the heroes is bit and they can't leave the quarantine. The heroes fried the bitch and moved on to the train.
I don't remember anything said in this video I just remembered the breakout and elevator scene, so I was bamboozled and even for a moment believed that I just watched another horrible movie called Resident Evil I got a good laugh. 👍
The problem with resident evil movies is that they read like a bad fanfiction focused solely on making a single character as cool as possible at the detriment of every other element.
Because that's how utterly stupid the ... "story" of the later movies got; they seem to have basically thrown darts at a wall of random plot points on Post-It notes and then just told that actors, "Yea, do the thing on the paper and say some lines. We'll fix it in post."
Well.. this was entertaining.. and I never want to watch the Resident Evil movies.. even though I never played any of the resident evil movies, I... somewhat.. know what happens in them...
