4 weeks ago I was laid up yet again due to the result of some bad car crashes. However when I can go I try and do something special. This is my 6th time up this mountain but it felt different this time as it’s been over 10 years since I could even consider doing this. It always pulls a trick on you, showing who’s in charge and this time it was the fog. I can’t tell you how grateful I was to be able to do this again and even if I can never do it again, I feel I’ve made my peace with a few things and also with a very wild Mountain by doing this adventure. 5.75 hours and 7km with over 700m of ascent. Although I did take the odd wrong turn!!
