Hi. I'm subscribed and on the burpsuite room and I've deployed the box. I set up my burpsuite on my windows pc, installed the ca cert etc but then it says (on the "Deploy the VM attached to this task!" section) ... "To complete this task you need to connect to the TryHackMe network through OpenVPN. If you're using the in-browser machine this isn't needed (but make sure you're accessing the machine and using Burp inside the in-browser machine)." - If I don't want to connect via a openvpn does that mean I have to use the burpsuite provided in the attack box or can I use my own burpsuite on my windows pc? Thank you
Hello what way do you recommend for a begginer the stages to take should I do Complete Beginner then Pentest+ then offensive Pentesting in those stages or what way would you reccomend it ?

I don't know if that's been asked before in any of your videos and if it's something you can cover. I was looking for other sites like this one for beginners, with hints and pointers for related topic. I realized that world of pen testing was huge,vast and expanding. In plus of being really really hard. Hacking is hard. Nobody really tells you that. So , can you make a video covering the different paths,the different technologies you encounter and what to learn/study associated to them? After watching your videos and some others, I realize that hacking is not just pressing a button. Like, there's no way a person can know everything. Tons of steps and knowledge required. You don't just spend one month reading forums online and expect to become good. People go to school for that. It's not free. Yet, I hear people say it's a waste of time. So that's why I was wondering what options, especially if learning on your own. Sorry and thank you for time. That nmap tutorial made me subscribe and I would buy your courses (I understand it can be a hasle and time consuming to just share knowledge for free. Even if I wished it was free) if all your videos were like that.
Hacking is kind of a field where you can succeed only if you like what your doing and you should believe in your process. If you get something so easily then it has no value, I don't know who told you it's time waste but I don't think so. Just keep one thing in mind ,all others who are hacking are also human beings same as you. If they can do then you can do as well. And about sub categories you have web , crypto , networking to name a few but what's funny is that all this are interconnected 😂. I think people have made videos about it as well you can check it out in RU-vid itself
Trust me, best hackers out there are self made, most of them haven't gone to universities to learn how to hack or do any kind of related stuff about it. Again, best hackers out there are self taught. But yeah, if you WANT or have the chance to go to Uni, then go.
@DarkSec Issue that i ran into was closing down the Kali / User Attach box and now i can start it up again says i need to Subscribe? i DID have it up but now that i closed it i no longer have it. anything i can do OR do i have to Subscribe monthly for it? Thanks

You are trying to hack your own machine, instead of copying the IP that is on the top of the screen(green), click on Start machine and copy the target machine IP
