Cool setup indeed fam. Did you get a chance to check out the DIY Rocker Box I made? Great job getting that Au. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Thank you, Livin' the dream! 🤘🏞😁 I have seen your blue rocker box you made and I like how the material drops down and gets processed thru the pads. Take care brother! Get that Shinny! ✌🙂 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
Thank you so much TheWynch! Miss seein' you too. When it warms up I'll have to come down and see you. ❤🤗🏞 The rocker box Rocked! Stay warm and enjoy the snow. _~ Keep On Pickin' a' Grinnin' ~_
Mike that works great ! I only seen one other use a rocker box that he also made his self. It is such a beautiful area Mike ! Enjoyed watching Mike ! Take Care😊
Right on! Thank you CCC, might need a little tweakin' but seems to work great and it is pretty here. Your area is real nice too. 🏞 Have a great night! _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
Right! Was impressed for that small flour Gold, need to set up with more tilt and over some tubs. Check them tailings, but over all Fun. ✨🏞👊Take care _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
@MountaineerMichael I forgot to mention that... in Indiana, we have a lot of micro gold. Once, one day, it actually didn't rain on me. The sun was perfect. When I was dumping out the extra water, I saw flour gold going out. Still looks like a great way to get gold when you're at a place without good water flow for a sluice. 👍✨️
@@a3skywarrior929Haha Exactly! Usually I have my sluice to run, but when the water is so far n' low it's easier to bring water up then heavy soil down. Also, even when the water's low it's still fast here. Almost takes off with my sluice, can't always jump for the sluice and it gets uneven too.
Great video I might have a Way to improve your rocker box and some gold pan tips that could possibly help put more gold in your pan I will see what you think when we meet up I'm planning on going to one of my prospecting spots I will keep you posted until then stay safe
Heck yeah, I'm all ears! I only showed the first pan and there is just so much black sand to deal with. You get some Excellent shinny and stay safe too. Cu on the river.✌🙂 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
I met mountaineer Michael at Chevron one night in my hometown and he's a great man I can hardly wait to go prospecting with him and show him one of my spots where I found a piece of wire gold and a small fleck in a gallon ziplock bag a while back
@@josephhaworth461 wow, so so jealous, never meant him in person but I use his banjo music on my vids and that is like he is with me on every adventure 🫶
If mining was easy everyone would do it, haha 😄 it is a bit easier then carrying material down to the sluice. But if I can get the rocker tilted more, it wouldn't hold too much waste material. Less processing. Have a great night! 🌙🏞🍀 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
Good build for a first prototype! What are your thoughts on how well the rocker bucket is working for you so far? I like how your design holds onto water in the bottom bucket, haven't seen a design like that before. With a few more modifications it can be even better. Well done!
Thank you! ☺ I have noticed that for one bucket ran thru the sluice vs one ran thru this rocker. The rocker holds onto quite a bit more garnets/heavies. Which is good. But not every bucket is the same. Also water/river surges and sluice washes out pretty fast. Down to it, I believe the rocker is where it's at. By the time heavies make their way, they have dropped below the edge/lip in the center. And the corners washout majority of lights. Hope this info has helped, like to do a video expressing the rocker and how I feel about. Need more time with it too. 4years with sluice vs 7months with rocker. I Love the rocker. Take care out there. 👋🏞🍀 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
@@MountaineerMichael - would be great to see some more videos of your rocker bucket in action. I thought about using a 5 gallon bucket for a rocker box few years ago, but never got around to prototyping anything.
Nice job with the bucket rocker! Very resourceful. Are you gonna do anymore testing or improvements? Please check out my pvc trommel that I’m working on. Keep warm, and be safe out there. Good gold hunting to ya! Take care.
Thank you, ☺ I will be adding a few more holes around the bottom edges where the bottom meets the wall inside the classifyer bucket. Material seems to collect there. Possibly make a smaller rocker box version too. See how it goes. I'll check out your pvc trommel. 👍 Thank you, you stay warm and be safe was well out there. ✌🙂 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
Thank you! It's pretty light weight to pack in. If I had the adventure sluice I'd run the cons thru that to finish process. Instead of pannin' by the Lovin' Spoonful. Just too much black sand. You take care out there! Cheers ✌🙂 _~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
