Here is a long list of help. :) Video Camera: Ghost orbs are found in night vision and lights need to be off. Thermometer: Below 10= Ghost room, Below 0= Freezing temperatures (Breath) Crucifix: Has to be... -In the ghost room (Where the ghost spawns). -Dropped, not held (Put in a clear place so you can see if its gone). -Dropped BEFORE an attack. (UNSURE) Sometimes the crucifix won't work in certain places or certain ghosts, check descriptions of ghosts for this. UV Light: Can be found on... -Doors (Closets, cabinets, etc.) -Windows -Smooth surfaces -Tables (Unsure, I can't remember if I saw one on the table) Tips: Thermometer: If on the the objectives DOESN'T say to find a room below 10, DO NOT exclude using the thermometer. The thermometer is the best equipment to keep, you can always detect the ghost room with the thermometer, all ghosts make rooms cold, some freezing. At the beginning of the game, no room will EVER be below 10 (Unless this is professional only, I haven't done too much testing) so look for rooms with about 12.5 C and below (Usually 11 you check) and stay there for a bit to see if the room is below 10 C. Ghost room: I suggest dumping all of your equipment into the ghost room (Flashlight you ALWAYS keep), you can bring more when you come back and anyone staying can use that equipment. Video camera: Put the... -Book -EMf -Crucifux -Salt+glowstick in sight of the video camera so you can see if they have evidence (I am unure if you can see the salt glow on cam). (It's usually hard to get these items in view so you can see them clearly, so I wouldn't continuously try to get it in view) Hunting: Signs for hunting are... -Flickering flashlight (ALWAYS flickers when hunting). -Doors to outside are locked (ALWAYS locks when hunting, the front door is a clear sign when hunting). -Activity raised to 10 (ALWAYS rises to 10 when hunting). -Heart beat. (Most of the times) -Ghost breathing down your neck. (Usually when someone dies, sometimes happens at random times but can also happen at starts of hunts) -Loud footsteps (Clue for ghost type). -Closing doors. Also, when a ghost appears, it doesn't always means it's hunting. When it appears but it's not hunting, thats the best time for a photo (although everytime you see the ghost, you have to act quick for a photo). Watch out for the signs of hunting for this. (Updated because of @Tumbly Bee ) Equipment: Sometimes equipments won't react. ALL of the equipment won't pick up with lights on except thermometer and motion censor (Off the top of my head, I think there's more). Money loss (Personal idea): -Sacirifce: Someone should of if someone doesn't buy anything, they won't lose anything. So if the whiteboard says it reacts to people alone, then you can choose who to go in. So the person who didn't buy any equipment is best as a sacrifice, and you can take a picture of their body. -Supplier: Someone should or if someone buys ALL of the equipment, they should be the one staying in the van so nobody loses money because they wouldn't be the ones losing money if they don't buy any equipment. The person in the van can communicate the video camera, ghost orbs, sanity, floor plans/map and activity. Ghost descriptions: Interactions with the ghosts can really narrow it down, these include (Off the top of my head)... -Footsteps (Flying, hard to detect with footsteps). -Physical form (Walk through walls). -Objects (Moving a lot of objects, moving objects at high speeds or just rarely moving some objects). -Targetting (Ignoring people to get to a certain person). -Agressive hunting. -Toxic reactions (Salt). -Lights (Hunts more with lights off, turning off lights or flickering). (I am unsure about these descriptions, I haven't gotten much info about these) Pictures for money: -Dirty water -Bone (picture then pick it up in that order) -Dead body -Ghost writing -Ouija board -Voodoo doll (only in farm house) -Physical form of ghost -Salt reactions -Fingerprints PS: Most of those you won't see, and some are pretty rare, so you really only need 1 camera for all of them, you really wont need more than 5 photos unless you waste them, and you only have the space in your journal for photos, if you take a photo when each spot in your journal, then it won't count towards anything. This info really is a LOT, but this info helps when you see it, you realy won't need to keep remembering or keep all of this in mind. BTW, Yes, I am that person who wrote tips for Subnautica. My knowledge is pretty good.
also to add on the hunting: whether you see or hear the ghost it doesnt necessarily mean they're hunting, so that would be the great time to take a picture of it; hide ONLY if the lights start flickering, because thats when the ghost is out to kill
you guys are getting better and better every game! i recommend if you have a hard time finding an exit or the generator switch in the dark, place low-level flashlights and glow sticks strategically to create a path of light for yourselves. This also makes a great "alarm" system when the ghost starts to hunt! its my go-to thing to do when playing in a game with friends :)

For ghost orbs you need room lights off and night vision on. Spirit box you need lights off and press v. Crucifix need to be down in the ghost room where it spawns. When its hunting run and hide in a room close doors it slows them down and turn off flashlights and equipment.
If you play this again. Sometimes the ghost footsteps are visible under UV light and therefore you can track it. All the ghosts can step in salt. That's why you chose the wrong one when you saw the salt.
I am a complete scardy cat and I can't handle anything scary. However I love this game and it is so fun seeing your reactions. I love watching your animal crossing streams and hope that you continue playing it. Glad to see you guys playing with Julie again! 😁
Left a like before even watching, super excited for Julie. Edit: For some reason this game is less scary when you guys play with Julie. I don't know if it's just because it's the constant state of terror that just numbs you or not. But this made me smile and laugh a lot.
The first time I played phasmophobia I entered the tutorial, grabbed some equipment, got the key, entered the house, asked if someone was there, heard the breath in my right ear and I grabbed my headphones took them off as quick as I could and I hit esc and quit then proceeded to cry cause it was the most terrifying thing I have experienced 😂
I recommend *slime ranchers*, it isn’t a scary game, but you can still get hurt, its a game about farming cute little slimes and mixing them. (My sister plays it in the weekends and I really like it and I think you guys will like it too)
You guys keep trying to leave while the ghost is hunting and being surprised by the door being closed, but they always lock the door during hunts, haha
Would really love to see you play another sneaking-involved puzzle game such as Little Nightmares and Untitled Goose Game, I really like that format of game! Two very different games but both where you advance from area to area and solve puzzles by dragging things around and sneaking...
You should do more horrorgames together! The screams of one shot gurl are exquisite 🤭 plus it is very nice to listen to you because you're all smart and refreshing. I know it sounds not nice but listening to silly ppl is so tiresome. You all instead are awesome!

I would love to see you playing in VR, we have one, getting the space set up was a struggle haha I have no living room anymore 😂! we play synth rider A LOT! (is like beat saber) we love the songs, electro swing is soo cool! I recommend it 🙌🏼 (and its a good cardio 🤭)
You know what, I'm just going to write this here and then look for the form tomorrow because its late and i'd have to install discord and what not, so I've been extremely addicted to this crafting game called My Time at Portia. It's HEAVILY crafting, there's some fighting and mining as well, the graphics are super cute, the story is super wholesome and deep but also lighthearted. It reminds me a lot of Stardew Valley, because you can grow relationships with all characters, and sort of focus on what you like more (crafting, fighting, mining, farming...) and I just think you guys would love it! It's singleplayer but you could easily take turns so it's pretty fitting! It's also not so expensive, and doesn't eat up much ram on your computer ;)

They said they're going to wait for its story to be fleshed out and progress more to play Below Zero And they recently streamed Subnautica 13th ep. before this so I'd say it's gonna take them some time to rotate between games they're playing.
Content(and game design), games make that mechanic because it is great for streamers/youtube gamers because they know(devs) that games have to talk to make the game interesting for watching viewers and thus activates the game mechanic for more fun scare times. There are several newer horror games that use this mechanic except it is always on and constantly affecting the game.
I know it's necessary for the game to be entertaining, by my inner cryptozoologist cringes at the amount of creatures that are just different names for the exact same thing 🤦🏻♀️
