I don’t wind mine up and hold it like you did. I hold it at the bottom and once it has grabbed the hair you use the rotating brush and move it up and down and it dries and styles and gives volume.

Yes, because you are using it correctly 👌 FYI, if anyone is confused, type into RU-vid “How To Use the Digital Sensor Hot Air Styler” and watch the official video! In the official video the model places the styler at the BOTTOM of her hair, hits the wind button, and pulls her hand down, keeping the styler in one place. 😉

Honestly it feels like so much work for a result you could easily get with a regular blow dryer and round brush and keep your $200 for sthg else.

the end result was under whelming and it seemed like a lot of effort ,you ended up with lovely hair but i think you would have a better result blow drying

It does work nicely once you get practiced with it. But you can find a less fancy model that legit does the exact same effect for less than 30$

The Dyson Air Wrap does that as well as curling your hair so I would definitely recommend that.

I have one of these, it makes my hair way less frizzy and you definitely get faster with it! Also I'm pretty sure in the booklet it says to dry your hair to about 80% with the regular brush before going in with the round ones, so that could speed it up for you too!

I actually love the result this gives! I feel like if you get rid of most of the moisture just quickly with a hairdryer and finish off with this for the top and ends would be quicker and give the same result but I loveeee the look!

I’ve had a similar product in the past but I returned it as it was too fiddley. I went back to my hairdryer and a brush it was easier to keep doing what I was doing 🤗🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍😍

I have a hot tools brush/dryer like this and I like to dry my hair upside down for a few min and then go in with that, seems to save some time and still adds the volume that you went!

I had so much anxiety watching this and preparing for the worst if your hair got all tangled up 😅 I have SO much hair so I don't think I would purchase this for myself, it already takes ages to normal blow dry my hair lol. I wouldn't expect this is a process you would do every time you dried your hair but think it would be super good for before an event or something special to look a bit extra, the finished result looked so nice and smooth and volumized! I have this too. You are meant to dry your hair to 80% first, then use the curling parts. You are also meant to let the barrel wind your hair rather than manually wrapping it, and let the brush part brush through your hair to make the shine and reduce frizz. It does get easier the more you use it though 😁

I have this and love it. I give my hair a quick Blowdry to about 80%. (I'm sure insturction say to do that to style) Use the rotation to give volume. Works great, just need to practice. It's more a styling tool not a blow dryer.
