You should make a video where you do a full face of the cheapest makeup(cheapest possible primer, foundation etc) at Ulta and then a full face of the most expensive makeup at Ulta and compare the two.

Um. I dont think Ive ever seen a primer do what that one just did! Ive been a fan of clarins for like. Ever. They have dropped off my radar over the years though. They have a self tanning milk that is the BEST self tanner on the market hands down. Im going to purchase that primer based on this review.

I am so glad to see someone giving some love and attention to Clarins. I was really starting to think it wasn't available in the States, as literally no one talks about it. It's a big brand here in the UK, especially the skincare. Their face oils (such as the Lotus Oil) and cleansers are especially nice, as is the eye makeup remover. I love the lip perfectors, and their Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils are really good, as they are glossy yet comfortable and nourishing (plus the raspberry one tastes like jam doughnuts!).

Clarins is also available in many of the Middle East and Asian countries I've been to, maybe most people think of it as an 'old lady' brand like Estée Lauder and Shiseido.

Jessica, you would LOVE the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, it's super moisturizing. They market it as a sort of universal mask/skincare item but it is the PERFECT primer!!!

Yessss..bc this brand is just way too expensive and honesty nothing wowed me (could be that all the products looked dewy, almost greasy and I have oily skin), I appreciated the review, but it's not for me🤷🏻‍♀️

I can say that the fairest shade is close to Fenty 100/105 and a bit too light for me. The packaging is gorgeous! I need to get a better shade before I can comment on wear but no scent and a nice pump!

The clarins instant light lip comfort oil (it's tinted and there are several colours) it's very shiny and hydrating at first, then after a few hours, it settles and it leaves your lips moisturized and slightly tinted (evenly), the anti aging hand cream (hand and nail treatment cream) has been my ride or die for years (it makes my skin super soft and dries the cuticules which makes them very easy to remove) , same for the moisture rich body lotion with shea butter, nothing I have tried is more hydrating than this one. And finally, the moisture replenishing lip balm with essential rose wax. I have tried so many other products from the brand, but these ones have been my absolute favorites for YEARS. I live in France and this brand is very popular here. Anyways, the moisturizer you've tried is a fairly new one but I really like it, oh and I almost forgot, they also have an amazing eye mask it's called the moisturizing reviving eye mask. Ok now I'll stop ;) I hope my English is not too bad, it's not my first language :)

Just a note though. Some people are hung up on the price of Clarins. It is expensive, but where you would use at least a pea sized amount of other foundations, you only used a couple of drops of the Clarins one. I think that one would find that their products last as long as twice the length of cheaper brands, so probably equalises by the end. I am definitely going to get the foundation now

I can’t believe that you never tried Clarins before! I’ve been using their products since at least 25 or 30 years, but I’m French. Less now, because they are so expensive here in the US. I would recommend you the soft peeling to make your skin very smooth. I have a dry skin but I love this product. If you use it on your lips, your lip gloss will be perfect. Also there is a great gel for the legs in summer when it’s too hot outside. I suppose it still exists. It makes your legs feel fresh. Whatever you try, it’s gorgeous. I was using a day cream a long time ago, it was smelling like orange, I can’t remember the name, but I loved it so much! All their products smell so fresh and good. They are sold at my CVS now, I am watching them by hoping that at a point, I will be able to afford them again. In the meantime, I’m using Neutrogena skin care products which are really not bad for their price.

I go through one tube of that once a year and im on my seventh tube or so! its the best. ever since I started using it at night my lips are constantly hydrated, no cracks or anything. 100% recommend! it is worth the price and more

double serum from clarins is unreal. been -40c here and my skin is flawless still - also, 15ml for a concealer is LOTS.. most doefoot concealers come with 2-5ml. Shape Tape has 12ml and TF Born this Way Super Coverage has 15ml.

I absolutely adore all things Clarins!!! I think it’s such an underrated brand! Here in Canada, it’s quite loved! Some of my absolute must have products are, their Beauty Flash Balm ( an unbelievable mask, primer, moisturizer in one that makes your skin glow! It’s fabulous!), their S.O.S primer in “peach” is an absolutely beautiful primer that leaves the skin perfected enough that you just might skip on the foundation! Also, I am in love with their powder blushes! The packaging alone is a thing of beauty, but the formula is wonderful and long wearing and comes in the most beautiful shades!!!.... I could go on and on, but you get the point...Clarins has much to discover!❤️

I love the double serum, beauty flash balm has been wonderful for years, I just got some of the SOS which I also love, BB cream, Instant Light, super restorative day has an spf of 20; love all their oils, I have used Claris for many years and think almost everything they make is really great.

Please make a video about makeup that you collected while travelling in Europe. Bourjois, Essence, Catrice, L.O.V etc. And also I would love to know what you think about Bobbi Brown foundations. I have the original Skin foundation and love it for my dry skin. Also it is the only brand that has the right shade for me. (Porcelain)

Nanyloah it’s because less people go into the dept stores for cosmetics. Online shopping has taken over and people don’t have the benefit of seeing and touching the products and seeing all of the other great brands available.

Clarins is one of the best brands I have ever tried. I've been using the products since my 20's... Ive tried other products, high end and drugstore, and always going back to them. Not only because is a preference, but the natural component to them always attracts me. you need to try the serums and the anti-age multi-active day cream. It is awesome! :D Great video!

I used to use Clarins primer that comes in the little red jar, don't recall the name. It may have been the first pore filling, smoothing primer on the market. They don't even call it that, but that's what it does. You need very little and it does its job beautifully. I repurchased once, but then the market began to go primer crazy and I wanted to try new things. I might buy it again now.

I love Clarins skincare I wouldn't use anything else because of the skincare benefits and I have ultra sensitive skin ... I use 2-3 products max because its so expensive but its worth it instantly my skin is brightened and perfected... Try out the facil oils , they are AMAZing, I use Blue Orchid for dehydrated skin but they have one Dry skin too !!! with that foundation on, you dont need much makeup. It looks fabulous on you and intact I think I'm going to head out and buy it together with the concealer trust me once u have used Clarins moisturizers, nothing compares afterward, and it has fab skincare ingrediants, its strikes the right balance and yes it's expensive but for your age group 30 -40 try the Multi Active range one , its half the price and works so well ..

I love clarins stuff, it is such an underrated brand!! That primer is one of my favorites, I heard about it from rachloves and am so happy I bought it. I love the multi-active jour is one of my favorite moisturizers of all times, I’ve used up 3 jars in the past. Now I need to get more of their stuff once I use up all my current skincare!

Thank you for reminding me of Clarins skincare. Clarins and Elizabeth Arden were my go to products 15-20 years ago before I bought into a lot of brands that had more forceful marketing. Your video review made me revisit Clarins and I'm so glad. The SOS primer and Skin Illusion Foundation are absolutely wonderful. I use both drugstore and more expensive brands, and this is definitely worth the price (many are not). I'm now over fifty and credit early investment in skincare (thank you Clarins and EA!) with the positive results.

I love their products in general and l have been using them for over twenty years. Their cosmetics is based on plants and their smell of products is fabulous. I love their body products and especially their deodorant. Their lips products are excellent. Both their regulars lipsticks and the cultivating gluses are excellent. I always think of Clarins as like a French pharmacy equivalent to Clinique (it is sold in pharmacies as well as department stores etc in Europe) though they also offer spa treatments so I guess a cross between Clinique and a brand like Elemis or Darphin? I definitely think of it as a 'mom brand' and feel too young for it but I have to say, the products are very nice and reliable. I would love to see you try more French pharmacy brands!

Their Flash Balm is one of the best primers I have used on every skin type. Its a multi-purpose product but as a primer (there is an application method) it’s unbeatable. Their blushes and bronzers are beautiful too, super smooth and silky

Tara Berg online on Sephora (at least in Canada) there are 4 options, Honey (yellow), Mint (green), Raspberry (fuchsia) and Red Berry (red). They are more of a softening lip treatment instead of a lip stain or colour. If you are wanting one with a bit of pink tint I would recommend Raspberry, it tastes delicious too! I just like the honey as a personal preference, but all are awesome!

I'm so excited you have Clarins a shot. It's my all time fav line. The body products are amazing! Double serum is mind blowing. You will LOVE it. Also the instant light perfector is $20. The one that rolls up like a lipstick is $26. The one you have also will help with the dry lips if used like a chap stick. It's very reparative.

Clarins is amazing!! I used to work in a salon (over 25 year ago!) that was one of the first professional salons to stock and use Clarins in their treatments. Their oils are fabulous. And I adore the Eau des Jardins fragrance for spring and summer. I think my Mum has been using the Beauty Flash for 20 years.

Clarins is a very popular brand in the UK, they have counters in most large stores. The extra firming cream is so good and the foundation beautiful!! I have been using Clarins for many years and it is fantastic. It is pretty known and popular in Europe especially for skin care.

Clarins was my "gateway" to high end skin care. I feel it's really excellent skincare. Double serum, beauty flash balm, the self tanning milk, lip oils, concealed are classic!!! Also the eye make up remover is the best I have ever used. Caroline Hirons has an in depth review of the skincare on her channel. Glad u found this brand.

Tons of Clarins products have banana in them, which I'm allergic to. Also allergic to avacado... patiently waiting for that trend to die.

My sister is allergic to Aloe. Nowadays EVERYTHING has aloe in it. She had to read ingredients on every single product. I’m not allergic to avocados but personally hate the smell/taste/texture so I’m always waiting for that trend to die 😂
