I learned with acrylic...a fast drying one at that. I prefer acrylic because it is sturdy, but I'm a polygel girl for the fact that I can take my time with applications. Really cute set..
I literally BUSTED an out loud laugh with the brushes. When you said “look how bented up they are” ….girl. The largest one looks like someone twirled it! Kudos for soldering on! 🤛
I feel like i looove both! Both have their pros/cons. Polygel doesn’t have the monomer smell and easier to file and doesn’t dry until you cure it, but i learned with acrylic and feel like if you get your application right it looks so seamless!
It would have been cute if you had played Flight of the Bumblebees while going through the speeding process since your theme is honeycombs and bees. 😊 Those are so cute!!!! ❤❤
Hey, I love the nails! I also heard that when you get heat spikes from having too much monomer spraying alcohol on your nail stops the burn. I hope that helps!
I love the look that I get from acrylic but I must say this is like concrete! Bravo for your persistence and patience. Great job with a horrible product ❤️🇦🇺
I love gel x! It's quicker and they last just as long. You may have to do different steps for different designs like ombre but I still prefer that method.
Hi Key, I love watching your videos! My nails are weak from chronic illness & medication, so I just do polygel overlay, with a tiny extension I make on air, hardly going past the end of my finger! But I love watching your super-long sets, & I wish I could wear Kawaii designs. I do enjoy doing stamping designs, & have several stamping plates from Maniology & Moyou London.
I love using hard gel and polygel. But I’m going to learn to use acrylic better. I’ve been working with it off and on but haven’t really got down a good idk….my application can be a little bumpy. 😂 I love the nails, so cute! The little black lines did add to the look, I really thought it was cute! What a great job! I love watching your product reviews, you just persevere and don’t give up, I’ve actually seen a creator give up put it aside and stopped the video and that was it. 😮 As usual I enjoyed watching, much love girl! 🩵💙
I love my acrylic iv been a nailtech since 2005 but I'm starting to really enjoy polygel iv learned alot from u wth polygel & I love ur nail art I'm horrible wth it but I try.... 😊
I was getting so frustrated watching that acrylic dry instantly 😒 I started off with a cheap acrylic kit and was so discouraged. I almost quit! Thank God I found better quality products. I love acrylic.most of my clients prefer builder gel or poly gel so I do a little of everything. I love your videos!❤
I'd like to see you do this exact same process/ or as detailed anyway video of poly gel nails and acrylic one on one hand and one in the other in the same video. 😊❤ Also temu poly gel 😊
7:07 right here. A beginner would be stumbling bad. This happened to me as a beginner and for almost a year I almost gave up cause I thought I just couldn’t do it. Until I bought better brands and realized it wasn’t me. It was the cheaper products I was using from local nail supply etc. so I always recommend to beginners to go straight to Notpolish. Just don’t waste time and money. Get the good stuff from the start so you know if it’s you or the product. As a beginner you just don’t know. So I agree with you. This is not beginner friendly ❤
I love love acrylic I just really suck at plus my boyfriend doesn’t like the smell of monomer I actually started with acrylic and developed an allergy to either monomer or the powders so I do it every so often with gloves on my practice hand but polygel for the Win it was much easier for me to to learn since it doesn’t dry fast I can cure small layers as needed but I loved this set you made it loook so easy to work with this kit ! *****I think I saw somewhere matte where you don’t want the chrome (it’s supposed to not stick)
TEAM POLYGEL, only for the simple fact of the Acrylic monomer. If it wasnt for that I would have taught myself in Acrylic. When you have a family and you want to practice at home,no one really likes to smell that strooooonnng smell. Honestly I wouldn't want it around them either.
How many sec undrr the lamp for the gel? I have the same kit, same powder from Temu but no monomer. So I looked around and most of them are 100ml 15 euros. I see you have it fron Temu. Is that one ok?
I'm a polygel girl. I can get the hang of acrylic but it gives me crazy bad headaches. Haven't tried unscented monomer yet, but maybe. Polygel is much harder to me anyways, so I think I loke the challenge
I quickly found as a beginner that it’s much better to save up for good quality products. I almost gave up until I got a good brush and good product then realized it wasn’t that I couldn’t do. So I say don’t waste money or your patience. Save up first for high quality products.
it’s really not once you get the hang of it. as long as you have enough time to smooth it out you should be fine. and constantly wipe/clean your brush on paper towels.
Wth acrylic that drys really fast try putting the bead dwn at a angle kinda like how u were doing it on ur pinky that way ur covering more of ur nail so wen it drys it's already we're it needs to b . I hope that makes since? Iv watched ur channel now for abt 2 yrs I thnk idk it's been along time & grl u have came so fat & 1 thing I love abt u is ur honesty thank u for being so honest abt products.
I used 2like polygel wen I started about3/4 yrs ago. I don't like using acrylic at all. I didn't give myself time 2learn 2use acrylic. As soon as I started using gel products, I fell in love with it. But I've developed an ALLERGIc reaction 😢to gel products. so I may have to learn how 2use acrylic. IT sucks having CONTACT DERMATITIS.
I like SheIn better than TEMU, I mean there ok for some nail stuff but for the most part there stuff is just too cheap, like cheapy made products. I feel like they are taking advantage of the rough economy 😕👎🏾👎🏾but you did your thing with those nails 💯💯💅🏾💅🏾. I like poly gel better for sure, because I just can't handle the smell of monomer it gives me a headache
