Trying a Japan’s Gourmet Ferry | Shinmoji to Yokosuka 

Based on restaurant orders, my working theory is that Solo Travel Japan is actually a family of four.

- I will order only a small dish because I've already had dinner - A curry rice dish with extra rice please Hahahahaha we really love you. You represent us all

If someone said "make the opposite of a Chicago-style pizza," I'm pretty sure you'd get what you were served on the ship. A real Chicago deep dish is basically a pie made out of thick crust, cheese, and pizza toppings.

I'm pretty sure our Solo travel friend has tried every beef curry rice available in Japan. Bless him and his favorite food. 😂

That pizza looks like something you'd get when you found a "how to make a Chicago Style pizza" article on the Internet, and then ran the recipe through six different languages in Google Translate. Some of the other stuff looked good though, although that's the first time I've ever heard of Creme Brulee for breakfast.

It's like someone heard chicago pizza is "deep dish" so they made a deep dish out of a thin pizza crust. And then filled it with sadness.

The amount of food Solo has ordered in this voyage is INSANE but I truly love it because I get to see all those dishes being served on this liner. They all look so appetizing! Also, I gotta say, I really love that he's not talking and all we get is written captions and ambient noise. The mood of each place is front and center, while the man behind the camera and his thoughts as captions are secondary. It's fantastic.

Whoever cooked that "pizza" has never had Chicago style pizza. It was a strange taco salad with cheese and tiny little baby fish. The hamburger steak looked delicious.

Ah, another piece of Japanese ferry bliss! The power went out at my workplace today, and it was nice to come home to another great ferry video. As I've stated before, I wish my state had this level of ferry service. If we had a Bremerton to Point Roberts line, I think something like this would be amazing.

I’ve been noticing the different colors and patterns of the carpeting. Interesting to me. I like that your room you’re staying in has a desk. I’m wondering though, there seems to be a lot of open beautiful space on these vessels. If in the future of building these ships, maybe add more room to the sleeping space? I can also say, bring a dim night light if a person doesn’t like sleeping in total darkness. Well, thanks for sharing your adventures! I love seeing places I’ve never been too!

I very much enjoy Sake. Its just not well stocked where I live in Wisconsin, USA. I typically get Gekkeikan brand around here. When traveling Japan, my wife and I tried all kinds and it was great. I would really like to try Tedorigawa sake though.

You are correct, that was not Chicago style pizza. You should come to the United States and try our food. I think you would enjoy the different varieties of barbecue we have. Mrs. Eats, a Japanese youtuber, recommends to Japanese tourists in America, try fried catfish in our Southern states. She LOVED it!

Thank you Solo-san for sharing your travel. Never ever in my life I saw anything like said Chicago Pizza. 🤣🤣🤣 Not sure what was it, but definitely not a Pizza. I am very sure, you will enjoy Miyako restaurant in Geneva. Just Google their menu. I used to be their client for many years. The food they make is really delicious, extra fresh, best quality products and very tasty cooked. Sushi chef there is a real artist. I wanted to visit Japan to taste the authentic cuisine, but after your videos, I'm sure I already got the best. With all my best wishes.
