So glad you guys really enjoy the bread, cakes and drinks from 85C. This place is all over southern california and i am fortunate to be the lead baker at one of the locations in Los Angeles
Wow, now I know where to go for the egg tart without the dim sum lunch! 😆 Those pastries and cakes looked pretty amazing. Will check them out and let them know I saw them on your vid!
Love the intro...matching PJ's...even the dog!🤣🤣 I swear they were open over a month ago? Maybe not Grand Opening yet. Was there yesterday while visiting HNL. They are all over the West. I've been to many of them in Norcal, Socal, LV.🐷 Wife loves the walnut bread. Thanks for your vids. Grew up in HI, but live in SF. You keep me informed as to where to go when I visit family. Last week I went to Kam Bowl, saw your vid.
It might’ve been over a month since we uploaded that video a couple weeks after filming 😜 lol happy to help you keep informed of the ono grindz while your up in the mainland 👏🏼😋
Glad to see Amanda picked pork floss bread first, that’s my favorite!! Jealous that you didn’t stand in line, I waited about an hour+ when they opened the first one in Irvine/Mainland.
Been to 85* in California and loved each one that I’ve visited. Yes, bake goods run out very quickly. Need to be there before the lunch period before things run out. ❤😋
85 C degrees Bakery is the bomb! We tried in Texas and Las Vegas and it never disappoints. And the Milk Tea with boba is to die for :) Can't wait to go to Ala Moana and try in January!
Just went to this spot for the first time after going to Alas for the lunar new year celebrations and this is honestly my favorite bakery now. My favorites so far are the cream cheese bread, garlic cheese breads, and the ham and cheese roll.
Wait did hawaii just get 85!?! That's really cool! You guys need to get the sea salt jasmine... also I noticed you guys didn't shake the sea salt coffee... it tastes better shaken
Yay! So glad 85’ opened up on oahu at ala moana, no less! Love them. Can never buy less than $20. So easy to buy a full bag’s worth of baked goodies! Glad they invited you! Great job Amanda and Felix!!❤🎉
There was no line on wednesday so I finally got a chance to check this place out. Reminds me of JJ2 bakery but bigger. I had the vietnamese iced coffee and their 3 cookies. All delish! I'll def try their savory stuff. Possibly the croquette since you both made it look so good!
Thanks for the fun fact about what 85 degrees Celsius is! I’m curious to see if they have items that are not available in California. Perfect reason to stop at the 3rd floor of the Ala Moana mall. Mahalo 🌺
My go to is the sea salt coffee as no other place makes it like they do and the taro bun. Great video as always and the bloopers..always gets me laughing.
Aloha Amanda & Felix. OMFG (sorry), amazing drinks and bakery items, this is a sugar-aholic dream. Looks like most of the locations are on the west coast mainland or close to it in addition to the location in Oahu. I would love to try this place if I'm ever near one of the locations.
We enjoyed Vlogmas 3 tonight! We visit your you tube channel most nights and hope to see when we visit Oahu. We are in Nebraska but we did live on Oahu and enjoy watching your trips around the island.
We have an 85C here in Concord, CA and it is good. Authentically Charles said that it is the best Asian bakery in Hawaii. I thought that was a rather extreme comment since Hawaii has so many great bakeries that are Asian run. But since this is the first franchise ever, maybe they can make it more with Hawaii themed baked items. I'm curious if those cakes are as good as the old DeeLite Bakery's chiffon cakes. I'm talking about the original version, not the one that St. Germaine's made after they took it over. I'll be in Honolulu this coming Friday for the first time in a few years. I'll probably skip 85C since there are so many other places we have to go to because of you two! Mahalo for another great video.
Aloha from Caliente NV. Everything looked so Ono, though I wouldn't go for the jalapeño cream cheese myself. Question. What is mochi? Nothing like it in Caliente but my fave would be the strawberry cake. Always loved strawberries as a kid, always raided grandpa's strawberry patch.
Mochi is a very finely ground rice flour. When people say mochi they usually mean the dessert made from it which is like a sweet chewy dough usually comes in different flavors like green tea, berry or peanut butter
How did you guys not need an insulin injection after VLOGMAS DAY 3? Holy smokes! What a blessing to be so loved and sought after by the local and now franchise places. I’ve never heard of 85 Degrees Bakery. It looked really good and decadent (like Amanda says). You guys are blessed! Merry Vlogmas. 🤙🏽🎥🧁🍰🍩🌴🎄
@@AmandaFelixEats I’m going to have to. Are they only in Honolulu? We will only be at the Honolulu airport for an hour layover before we head to the Big Island.
Nice bakery review! Since I am visiting San Diego later this month, I will check out 85 C bakery there (It looks like they have several stores in town). Amanda, regarding Apollo candy - are you talking about the cone-shaped chocolate with strawberry white chocolate on top? I bet you can find them at Mitsuwa/Nijiya (it's been around for a long time and the package has not changed since my childhood!)
We love 85° here in Vegas....🥰 Of course you guys have different stuff than we do 🙁 wish we had Hawaii kine stuff here... 😁 there's so many pastries that I love there but one of my favorites is the milk tea bread, it has the brown sugar boba inside..
IMHO, if you like brioche then this the place to go, but to me they're selections are too one dimensional because most of their products have that same brioche taste. I prefer variety such as the local bakery that starts with "L" 😁
I love your shirt Felix.....local?? We arrive in 73 days!!!! AND Amamda, how on earth do you keep such a cute figure with all the yummy food???😉🍍🥞🧇🫓🥐🍡🥮🍥
lahat masarap sa inyo? walang hindi masarap. kaya masarap kasi libre lahat wahahahaha. my pauwi pa. tuwang tuwa balak pang bumalik wahahahaha kasi libre wahahahaha
