Heather, as someone from Sheffield (Yorkshire), I understand everything he says. But I'm glad you stuck with it and persevered, and everything has become (more or less) clear to you. A bit like waking up one morning to a new dawn, and being able to converse (almost) in broad Yorkshire twang. Many years ago - too many to remember - I used to go out with (dated) a girl called Heather, unfortunately she blew me out. And that's been the story of my life since - pretty much.

How anyone can dislike this video is beyond me. Definitely my favourite one so far! I just love the passion Danny has for food and you can hear it in every mouthful! This is what RU-vid was made for.
The foreshadowing at the beginning with the custard story and then Danny gets to tuck into some Vanilla custard desserts.....it was inevitable that it was going to be a solid 10/10!

For me - this has been the best one yet - laughed so much all way through - Danny is on TOP form - his humour and charisma is outstanding xxx I'm a Yorkshire lass (Sheffield) - retired to Cyprus but it would almost be worth a trip back just to try this place.
I'm an American of Sicilian extraction and I can tell you one thing that stuff is fresh. You just don't get better than that outside of Sicily. The cannoli the way it broke was so fresh and good. Definitely would make me want to fly across the pond to Leeds to have that food. Actually in New York we don't even have anything that good.
@@RogueCylon yes the problem is that Italian food in the us has been modified during the years becoming a thing on its own, but in uk the Italian community is quite young so the food is more or less what you can find in Sicily and has kept its authenticity (even if it is quite difficult to get Mediterranean vegetables in the uk because of the climate so the food may be a bit less tasty)
@@unknownzzz5115 agreed, although the veg in the Uk can be every bit as good, sometimes better, if you source right. American Italian, American Chinese etc all have devolved into a common deliverable to the consumer.
When Danny tucked into that brioche doughnut and started moaning and groaning, I had to turn my TV down so the neighbours didn't think I was watching porn!
As Danny would say, OMG! I've watched this video with my family three times now; my wife is Sicilian and of course recognized all the food that Danny ordered. He was clearly in 7th heaven, tasting all those delicious snacks, especially the cannoli and the humungous brioche! his reactions each time he tasted something were brilliant and hilarious.👍 One of his best reviews to date.
As I was watching this, my wife came into the room with a concerned look on her face, because the audio made her think I was watching a spicy video! Love a man who enjoys his food
Thank you for taking the time to really look at the shop and admire the food. So many people just walk by and look at the food without buying the food or appreciating the effort that goes into making it. Sicilian food is absolutely delicious. You’re also very polite to the employees, great for morale and business. It’s a shame looking at all that food with only you in it, knowing that most of it will go to waste. I’d eat it all!

As someone of Sicilian background, I concur with this! lol Brioche buns are amazing, but try it with lemon granita (sorbet/sherbert) put inside., very Sicilian.

I'm in Norway and I have been traveling to the UK on holidays with my partner for the past decade - I love exploring England, Wales, Scotland (never made it to Northern Ireland!) but then that hasn't been possible for a while. I once took some Italians for a sunday roast. They loved it so much they ordered a second portion....my little heart skipped a beat. I imagine this is how the shop feels about your visit. A broad, no nonsense Yorkshireman tucking into his cannoli and loving it, they must be so proud!

I LOVE how the camera operator panned slowly between shots. You were being spontaneous pointing something out but they were being very thoughtful of managing the camera. Can see the experience in the camera work or atleast talent!
