I love how we South Africans just accept the name wine gums even tho we have no idea where its from. My pops is in his late 50s and I asked him if he knew coz he's had them for ever. He said he doesn't actually know and we laughed😂
this was so cool to watch as a South African 🤍 The Ouma rusk is a breakfast biscuit meant to be dunked in a cup of coffee/tea. biting it hard like that is painful haha!!
Hey There. I am literally from South Africa. Super proud you guys decided to represent us on your chanel. Tip: You're suppose to dip the Ouma Rusk in your coffee or hot chocolate. Only then will you enjoy it.
Lol they really need to give suggestions in the box on how to eat or what's best to go with certain snacks in this box. They always be eating the rusks with no tea or coffee when trying them out and how would these people know.
@@c-re-yb2kiI swear Americans r dramatic for no reason I’m from Australia we have these chocolates and candies so does uk and Canada I grew up on them there the best how did they not like them American candy is the one people be spitting out too sweet or it taste like rubber and American chocolate isn’t rich it tastes like expired old milk
Hey guys! The ouma rusk is meant to be had with a hot beverage, we normally dip it in the bev and then eat. Riss, as a peanut butter lover, there's also a peanut butter flavor.
Some fun facts about the snacks y'all tried. -Ouma's the rusks are usually eaten with tea, milk and stuff like that. Ouma is a Afrikaans word meaning grandma/grandmother. -Cremé soda is quite a popular flavour in SA and the taste is different to American creme soda. -We all complain about the champions lol😂 most of SAns also find it hard to chew lol😂. -Most people also don't like the mint crisp chocolate😂 but if I'm not mistaken it's popular mostly with coloured people. -The lollipops have fizz in the middle but it does take some time for the fizz to come out. -Most SAn flavours like cremé soda, have a more "original" flavour, the USA adds more additives and artificial flavouring to the flavours. -Fun fact the flake chocolate doesn't melt when put in the microwave😅 -The TV bar chocolate is not that popular too
- American Cremé soda almost has a ginger beer taste and colour. - TV bars are actually pretty popular where I am. - Champions are niceeeeee just not the black ones, the cola one, strawberry one and buttermilk ones are the best flavours. - I don't think they would've survived the taste of koeksisters😂
and to add, chappies gum wraps have fun facts about South African history - it's always been tradition to read them before throwing the wrapping paper away .and there's some random intersting facts in there 😂 these were fun for me to read growing up
@@tshiamovanessaboroko93 Still Stan them I never miss the fun facts in chappies ever and Love candies I sometimes pick random ones I find in my path 👌🏻 wholesome
As South Africans, we are proud of Quan for trying and enjoying some of our favourites. The Ouma Rusk is best enjoyed with a cup of tea to release its flavours. I wish you could have gotten to the center of the lollipops. We hope to see more of these videos from you. 🇿🇦
Sharing love for Johannesburg, South Africa ... I feel like you guys were eating them correctly😂😂😂 the champion you supposed to suck on them and the fizzers as well, and the jelly tots white chocolate 😂😂😂😂😂 Quans reactions are everything 😂😂😂😂
You guys never had a lunch bar 😅😅😅 they nice, it has wafer, peanuts and chocolate ... they have a white chocolate flavor and a milk chocolate flavor... they fire 🔥
Marie biscuits the only way to eat them, is to put a little butter on and put another Marie biscuit on top so it's basically a biscuit sandwich...that's the best combo
UK, Canada, Australia has most of these candies and chocolates and also the cookies u buy in a packet from a store r biscuits in most of these countries even in South Africa but the cookie u make at home in a oven r cookies
@@Charlez.Stay_Tuned im also angry because clearly they don't like chocolate they shouldn't have bought it those faces and sounds they kept making pissed me off😂
As soon as i saw that flag; i knew that we are phakathi, phakama mzansi. This is the second video i am watching of South africans stacks review by non south african youtubers . A proud moment indeed.i have never felt this included since i started watching Riss and quan 6 years ago❤🎉🎉
I am beyond happy that y'all decided to try South African snacks. I could sit and eat the entire bag of Tennis and Eet sum more biscuits. I absolutely love those. They are my go to snacks. P. S is definitely the bomb I prefer the blue fizzer. That is Ouma Rusks which you have with tea or coffee Those are Endomints. When I was in school, I used to buy them all the time. I love the green ones way better than the white ones. My absolute favourite snack, wine gums. Every time I go to the cinema, I always get the wine gums. The thing about some of the snacks is u gotta suck on it till it becomes soft and you can chew it. I get pimples from eating Bar One chocolate but I absolutely love them. In school, we would buy Smoothies and eat them while i class. I like the bubble gum, grape and mango flavours. Quan's reaction to the chocolate with the jelly beans 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I remember my friends and I used to buy lollipops like Stumbo and Big Bomb which have chewing gums inside. Memories for days right there. I prefer the white flake. I actually prefer white choclate cos I get pimples eating dark chocolate. I absolutely enjoyed this video and next y'all gotta try South African foods Thank You Rissa & Quan for this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Y’all made me extremely happy with this video!!!🥹 Practically every Southern African kid (me being from Zambia 🇿🇲) grew up eating South African snacks.🤌🏾
I love this video and grew up on all of these. So the Champion wilson blocks is the the candy that one piece keep you the whole day. Ouma biscuits is definitely something you need to have with tea. And we don't really eat the Peppermint crips like that, its mostly used for desserts. And flakes are best enjoyed on vanilla ice cream❤❤
Mzansi Vukani!!! 🇿🇦 I love this channel! Thank you Rissa and Quan for trying Our Candy. I'm so Happy😊 the feeling is almost similar to a crush liking me back😂😂
Appreciate yall for featuring abit of us 🇿🇦❤️. The Ouma rusks slap with some coffee, you dip it in the coffee to make it softer so you can bit onto it. The fizz pops slaps, in with Rissa on the apple flavour the fizz is in the middle, had you broken it down or bit it you’d get the fizzy part. Cream soda🤣was really a big thing back then now it’s just there but no one really cares for it like that. The fizzer also has abit of fizziness once you bite and let it melt and dissolve on your tongue. We love us some chocolate 😂 most of those slap hard! Can’t wait for you guys to try more of our foods. Love yall Unbreakable fam🫂
