Throwing a drop of positivity into the ocean of Tess hate..... I love Tess. She has dry humor, and her default mood is sass, AND I LOVE IT. I don't think you guys hating are good at reading when she's being serious and when she's being sarcastic or sassy. She genuinely compliments and agrees with Julia on a lot of things, and occasionally gets sassy and you're calling her mean or bad energy.... Yeesh. And I'm a bubbly person! Just because someone isn't bubbly and sweet doesn't mean they're mean or have bad energy.
this was so uncomfortable to watch...i have always liked tess but her mood and attitude was so off in this i honestly don't know how julia did this...or why it was posted honestly. mad props to julia for powering through this episode
The awkward stare at the camera in the very beginning was very strange for me. I only watch Julia Tries videos. I've never watched one of the other girls videos and I never will.
Same!! She looks and sounded like a 5 year old stuck in a 30 some year old body, cursing like a sailor. Just soooo annoying that I had to fast forward just to hurry through it.
Tess and Julia just don’t have the right energy with eachother while Tess is more sarcastic and cynical, Julia has a more optimistic personality. So when they’re together, you naturally feel bad for Julia but in reality they’re just different people
I’m sure they’re both nice people, however it’s much easier to be a Tess than a Julia in life and I hope Julia surrounds herself with positive energy and roots her self belief even more. You go girl.

Or she could change her attitude. I'm actually shocked. I don't like complaining about someone like this. It's often about taste and preferences so I just don't watch people who I don't enjoy and leave those who like them to enjoy them, but this was very unsympathetic, immature and unprofessional by Tess. It's also very hard to hear what she's saying because she's mumbling. Not fun to watch. Just painful, and none of it is Julia's fault. Horrible.

@@KatSut1978 Yeah, I feel like people don't consider that Tess and Julia are probably comfortable enough with each other to be able to joke around without hurting each other's feelings. Like if this was their first time meeting, Tess could be seen as rude. But for all we know they are friendly enough to make "mean" jabs at each other. I don't know, and therefore don't feel I have the right to judge when I could be completely wrong.
I love Tess but I just don’t think she’s a people person 🤣🤣 Julia is such a sweetheart & she seems more educated on food & actually explaining it which I love !! Also love the fun facts of the restaurant!
Tess completely messed up this video for me hard rock being one of my favorite restaurants I feel Julia would’ve beamed through the entire thing and been hilarious but nooo they had to mess up a good thing 🤦🏼♀️
When Julia was explaining the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia you could tell she was excited about knowing and Tess shot her down instantly I absolutely hate that.

Very this. Tess is intimidated by Julia. She thinks by having a sarcastic demeanour it’s funny. It’s not. Exactly like you say. It’s exhausting. Poor Julia. She had to carry Tess the whole time.

i don’t understand why there’s so many negative comments because personally i have a friendship like this with my best friend where we are like cat and dog. she’s very introverted and quieter and i’m extroverted and talk a lot more while she listens. maybe it’s because i’m used to Tess’ personality but i don’t think she was being rude at all. i didn’t feel like julia’s vibe was being ruined she just didn’t talk as much as she would because she lets Tess’ review as well. its like a compromise where their energy is at the middle without changing either one’s personality and they’re both okay with it. i wish people would understand that people with almost opposite personalities can be friends too without seeming depressing.
I enjoy Tess in her element, but not like this trying food with Julia. Didn’t like it. Tess has a specific personality that cant handle cheerful or silly personalities.. at least that’s my opinion after watching this video. Julia is fun to watch because we can all relate to the joys of trying new foods. I think the better combo may be Julia at a theme park with Tess, but man do I feel like she wouldn’t have as much fun with Tess in her element. I feel like Tess wouldn’t let her be her complete self. Tess looked annoyed with Julia and tbh Julia was just being herself and doing a good job at explaining the review she wanted to give for the people. I Don’t think Tess can share the spot light and anyone who loves trying new foods would enjoy the experience with someone else which is what Julia tried to do with Tess this go around.
I LOVE Tess’s show and I LOVE Julia’s show, but this made me a little uneasy. I feel like they were so tense and annoyed with each other. Maybe it’s just me. I usually am put into a great mood with Julia’s show because she’s so happy and easy going, but the mood is off in this one. I wasn’t behind the scenes though, so I don’t know everything lol.

Tess wasn’t being rude. She was trying her best not to step on Julia’s toes on her show. Julia was trying to be her normal self but Tess, trying to play second fiddle, made it seem awkward. Their personalities are similar on their own but together they clash like a sibling rivalry. I wanna see how this dynamic would work on Iconic Eats
Was so looking forward to seeing these two together...the open hostility from Tess made it so hard to watch. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should = Tess & Julia should continue to reign their own queendoms.
I feel like I was watching a different show from everyone below. I love these two together, they are such different personalities but clearly have a laugh. I usually watch Tess but will for sure watch Julia now too.
I was SO excited to see my two favorite presenters, Julia and Tess, in an episode together. Unfortunately, as much as I love them both, they don't have much chemistry together. I think it's because they both kind of defer to each other so much that it doesn't look like they have a connection. Maybe that would improve with more episodes together? But I *do* love both of their usual episodes, so please ladies, keep doing horrible things to your digestive systems for our enjoyment!!! lol j/k, not really ;)

Idk if I fully agree with all the Tess hate here. There are some places where she's rude, but mostly she's very opinionated compared to Julia. I think part of the issue is how different the editing of this show is compared to her show, including the way the camera person interacts. It also seems like they were both annoying each other during multiple points in the video and that maybe they had been arguing before the shoot. They definitely have genuinely friendly moments, it just seems like the discomfort of a beginning friendship.
I’m a lot more like Julia but I have lots of friends that have a dry sense of humor like Tess and it’s a good combo! It’s not awkward when you know the person and you know and appreciate their humor and usually people like Tess like being around bubbly people like Julia. I stand by their dynamic 💕
I mean did Delish mean to do this? Like shake things up?? I saw this and thought OMG Tess is awesome and is always making jokes and smiling on her show and thought this would be great to watch. WOW sadly mistaken! Even at the end of the show, Tess made it clear she didn’t want to do this again. They clearly don’t like each other. If it was supposed to be a joke I didn’t get it at all.
I don't understand why people are hating on Tess and how she acted. She and I have very similar personalities from what I've seen of her, and I read her actions as very friendly. For example, when she said, "I'm not even listening anymore" and laughed, that is such a friendly interaction. people are calling it rude, but she didn't say it in a mean way. If she didn't feel comfortable, I think she would have just smiled and nodded and pretended she'd heard instead of jokingly admitting that she'd zoned out. Basically i'm just surprised that people can't recognize some friendly ribbing. Their personalities don't seem to mesh too well on camera, but I could still feel friendly chemistry there. It seemed like a pretty comfortable interaction to me. A little awkward, but I don't know Julia's personality too well, so I just assume that people are right about it being a cat/dog situation.
I don’t think people take into account that the whole conversation isn’t presented it’s cut and clipped together. So with that said to me I feel like they are good friends who can cut up and talk shit together. I love watching both of them.
I love both shows !! Tess does well in iconic eats, she's cute and sassy, sometimes a bit snarly, and insecure but overall she's fun to watch ! Julia, what can I say, she's a blonde bombshell and super chill and rad !! Both gals are rocking it !

I don’t need to ever see this painful pairing again. Spent the entire episode wanting to wrap my arms around Julia to keep her safe from the Tess dragon lady attacks.
It's hard to have two big personalities on one show but I felt like tess wasnt really any different than she typically is, and I doubt Julia was offended. If you havent seen tess on her own maybe you arent used to her. Both are great but I love tess' snarky attitude and think that's a big part what makes her so entertaining and more interesting than a happy go lucky attitude
