Asians have a thing for "floaties" in our drinks. (Think of having a smoothie that has chunks of fruit in it or a Ben and Jerry's ice cream where there's always texture.) The aloe is a "cooling" drink helping to lower the hot chi -- it also adds fiber. There's a vietnamese dessert soup that uses it and tastes great! The grass jelly is basically an herb flavored gelatin which also has a "cooling" effect on your chi. The basil seeds also behaves like putting chia seeds in your drink -- same texture and taste. Wait until you try the basil seed with poonpari seeds which has a spongee texture that soaks up the drink and then the basil seeds has a nice crunch. It's one of my favorite drinks growing up. For the coconut juice, typically when they serve you a fresh coconut juice in the coconut, they'll give you a spoon to scoop out the coconut flesh.
Someplace on the Internet, you can order snack boxes from other countries...they come once a month...y'all should do that...my friend did and it was interesting to watch!
@crazypieces I think you all should try the Mexican candy grocery aisle ( if your local grocery store has one) and select some candies and give your opinion. Like when you all or Max due the rate the foods. Thank you for the videos as always.
I would absolutely love if you all did an Australian food tasting and then maybe each country's food would make a good series to your vologs.. Love you all Joe you are an amazing person ❤️
I really loved this video as I got to see what some drinks taste like. Maybe you all could try get the subscription of international boxes and see how that goes 🙂
@@MomAndSonChannel2024 my daughter had shocking excema as a child and she would suffer a lot especially in the warmer months the Aloe Vera helped a lot back then.
I grew up drinking the aloe vera drink. We have all sorts of flavours here including pineapple, watermelon, blueberry etc theyre all yummy. The inside of a real aloe vera plant is actually a jelly like consistency, has so many great skin healing properties, the slimey stuff is really good for sun burn.
The pear juice is from Korea. It has Korean pear and A plant with a purple or white flower whose root is eaten as food or used as an ingredient in herbal medicine. It’s good for inflammatory and it’s good for sore throat relief. I’m Korean but I came to US when I was young. It has 8 grams of sugar. I could read Korean and speak Korean. I never seen that at the Korean market in California. I don’t buy Korean drinks but I love cooking Korean foods.
I always heard aloe had adaptive type properties, meaning if your deficient in something it will adapt to that need in the body and replenish it when ingested.
Please go to a store that sells British foods and drinks and try those on camera. Our food and drink is not as sweet as American versions and we tend not to do artificial flavours or colours. For instance our smarties are not your smarties, our skittles are different colours etc.
Yes there is a channel I watch THISWITHTHEM on RU-vid I love to watch and they're British siblings who try foods but they sell snack boxes. I had a couple of the boxes, yes less flavor on some but mostly still nice
Coconut water with da jelly 10/10 Lychee 9/10 without da carbonation Aloe 10/10 But Joe u guyz need to try da real plant by just cutting slice in da middle n scrap the jelly n eat it. Natural lemon grass tea is da best Joe. Try some Jamaican food n drink ❤ frm Jamaica 🇯🇲 Ps remember to try da aloe vera plant
Aloe Vera jelly has many health benefits. I personally don't like Aloe water. The baby bottle drinks sound good. I thought they were for babies but no, it's a fun packaging for anyone to drink. lol Jamie loving on Mella is so cute & she us just soaking up the love.❤
Being in South Africa - hot summers, this is a standard lemon and mint. And mint and cucumber slices, and final one lemon and strawberry slices. Adds lovely flavour and encouragement to drink lots of healthy water.
Telling a grown adult that's avoiding soda to try drinking water is the funniest thing I've read all day lol. Like no duh lol I'm 100% positive we all know water is the best alternative to not drinking soda 😂😂😂. The issue is plane water including sparling water with lemon isn't enough of a flavor to 100% use it to replace something as sweet and tasty as soda. Maybe giving the advice to try the new all natural sodas or sweet green tea could be actual suggestions that he may not know of already or thought to try lol. It's just he's definitely 100% thought to try water 😂😂😂
Hi guys I drink the Basil seed in the Netherlands but try it in different flavors Also the aloe vera in different flavor the strawberry its the best en cranberry with aloe vera is good if you have problems with going to the bathroom Love you all ❤❤❤
You did a neat taste test, but I feel you needed new glasses for each drink, so you didn't have a flavor mixture. Dixie mouthwash cups would have worked great.
You need water in between to cleanse your palette a bit. Definitely clean glasseseach time too. These drink challenges could really use those little dixie cups you put in the bathroom.
We Lived I. Japan for a time and they have some really interesting concepts for their snack and drink choices. My husband once bought a bag of prawn chips that smelled so bad we actually tied it to the outside of the car till we could get to a trash and throw them away. And I just cannot get past floatie things In My drinks! Good job not gagging through the more adventurous items! lol
Me thinks a saint paddy’s day food episode could be cool (not patty’s day ) the Irish would roast you for saying that haha . Also please not corn beef and cabbage that’s not an Irish dish haha ! So like maybe a full Irish breakfast.(black pudding is a must ) Chicken spice bage Guinness stew Dublin coddle Colcannon Tayto crisp sandwich
Y'all are brave but I don't think I would like those chips either. I do like Korean tea some but like only if it has lemon in it and I like it cold and hot I really don't drink it a lot
@@LeahFairfield so I’m not going to entertain all your insane comments. But for this one, you should also be ashamed. It’s insensitive to call items of another culture “gross” (verbatim, their words, not mine) just because they aren’t a fan of the taste or texture. The way they used “gross” in this context means extremely objectionable, offensive, or disgusting. So yes, it’s insensitive for an “influencer” family to call drinks of my culture “gross.” I cannot wait to hear what you have to say back.
You lived in FIJI?! I was there for 6 months studying abroad! I loved it! I was in Suva mostly, but traveled to many outer islands! goal is to get to Rotuma!
I'm so sorry to say, that my reaction on these kind of try-outs is always ambiguous. I admire and appreciate your effort to try mondial food and drinks. However, I am saddened by the way you proceed. I am an EurAsian, and have developed a curious and large palate. I have lived on both continents and travelled alot. I think I like most food and drinks bc my (grand-) parents taught us to consume or taste items in the authentic way and contexte. So, in your case, find out what kind of drink or snack you bought. (Google). Is it a drink for a meal or for comfort? Or for health? Asian chips and (fish) jerk aren't always considered snacks, but more as addition to a dish. And maybe the drinks taste better when cooled or with a cleansed palate. Imagine the impression of a random Asian tasting rootbeer, chocolate milk, smoothie and orgeata in two minutes 😮 I do hope that you'll continue to demystify drinks 🧋🧃🥤
