a perfect example of anticipatory triggers would be from ASMR Eliza. she doesn’t do them often, but when she does, they’re perfect.

I think it works best if you show off the trigger once before making us wait, that way our brain knows what to anticipate. You did a great job!

I watched two seconds and I've realized I found my new favorite asmr trigger type. Edit: I realize now that I was misattributing my like for certain triggers to the triggers themselves because sometimes certain triggers would be the thing I love and other times, someone else does it and I wouldn't like it. I think it comes down to the level of anticipation applied that really does it for me. Also note: My right earbud is my only working earbud and this still worked so well for me.
