Just a quick heads up, Loryn; there is no such thing as edible glitter. When products say edible glitter, they really just mean food safe. As in, it won’t harm you. But it’s still pieces of shredded plastic. Not very appetizing. 😅

Not really, edible glitter is made out of sugar, gum arabic , cornstarch and color additives, even if it was made out of plastic since it’s so small I bet it won’t harm you that much. People DO need to be carful with edible glitter though, like reading the ingredients, I believe that some “edible” glitters are just for decoration on desserts like you said but some is really edible! 😊

I don’t really get your point. You’re saying that when products say edible it really means food safe, but that’s literally the definition of edible. Food safe. Who doesn’t know that edible means food safe?
