I found your channel when I was looking up info on toners. I've already bought a bunch of Danger Jones colors, so I went into this video thinking it would be perfect as a bit of a preview. I think I'll be following your lead and lightening up the dark blue a bit. I love cobalt, but I think I'll save that for next time, if I can lighten up my hair enough. Your tip to overdirect the hair forward has completely changed how I'm going to approach all of my coloring experiments! Seriously, your results are what I think I was aiming for last time, but didn't have the knowledge to create. I'm better with science than art. I will also use this placement at some point. The last time I was at my stylist, we chose rainbow for the top section of my hair, and blue underneath and as thin money pieces. After it faded completely, I tried to recreate the look, but ended up with very sharp lines of color in my rainbow. It looked okay, but it wasn't the beautiful-melty-rainbow gorgeousness my stylist achieved. Gee, go figure that someone with years of schooling and experience created a higher-quality result than a random newbie trying a complex, home dye job! 😆 That's why she makes the big bucks, and why I happily pay . . . or _paid,_ rather, before our a/c blew up and needed an emergency replacement. My broken body doesn't handle Southern California summers well. A shocking amount of $$$ later, and I'm cutting back where I can. I'll be browsing through your channel for more color ideas and application/placement/miscellaneous tips. I like your straightforward approach and the way you explain your reasoning for each of the major choices you made. And, of course, your results are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your talent, education, and experience! I very much appreciate all the help I can get. My hair thanks you, too! 🩵

I was going to use Danger Jones, but they didn't have it when I bought color. Then when I went back to get more DDL, I noticed it on the way out. I really like these colors. I'm definitely going to try them when I finish up the current dye I have. I want to try a couple different rainbow looks 😊

For me lately, i feel like Pulp Riot lost its staying power. As you apply the color, you can see the condiitoner and color like separate if you over work it. I know they changed it to be a more conditioner base, and its just not as pigmented as it used to be? So far i am loving danger jones tho! Eta: the red does bleed when you rinse but thats the only one ive seen so far

It looks beautiful, imperfections and all. I have neon pink skunk stripes above my ears and the rest of my hair is level 8 reddish blonde permanent, so I definitely know the struggle of trying to keep all the colors in their place during touch ups! 💗🖤💗🖤
I just tried oblivion roots melted into hustler which resulted in more purple for a sully moment from monsters ink on my own head. It did run clear! First hot wash with schwartzkopft vibrant shampoo and it did bleed then, but I did use hot water. Not bad though. loving it so far!!! 🎉

I like to change my hair color a lot, so im interested to see how quick these fade. I appreciate a color that I can fade quickly with clarifying shampoo!
What I did not like and stopped using PR was because if you worked it in too much, it made the color disappear which no other color line has that issue. Most stylists stopped using their vivids for that reason when they got bought out. I'll try DJ though. Thanks for the video.
