I’ve recently done the ees and I think the steps are cool, actually playing the game with emzs and the weapon upgrade system is annoying, as well as infection round. All in all though, definitely no where near as bad as people say
it was also the start to mine. what i would do was get a friend, both go into our own lobbies, then play outbreak and see who survived to the longest round
Or the remote drones, those that fly up and towards a target before detonating. They're good for delayed traps when you're leading hoards cuz the exo zombies need lots of maneuver room.
From what I remember the guy from the boss fight is called Oz and he was part of the main cast on the first two maps and then it was found out that he was patient zero and atlas were making clones of oz to make a super army
Exo zombies was hype. I remember playing the exo zombies custom waw map that was made in the weeks before outbreak getting released. The story was actually decent. More interesting than infinite warfare or cold war anyway
@@j4rnusky no it wasn't it was better then WW2 infinite warfare and Aw it's mechanic were amazing I'd rather play cold war over bo1, bo4 and vanguard. go bitch about it why don't ya
That launcher you got a few times is actually really good The pap upgrades your weapon slowly so it feels like your weapon is doing nothing but that's because it's just keeping up with the zombie health and not passing it Outbreak and Carrier are the best maps. The last one is okay and Infection is awful.
Doesn't really look like it does a great job with its upgrades tbh. I see what they were doing but we upgrade weapons to make ourselves feel powerful, not to barely catch up with zombie health.
The exo zombies storyline wasn’t bad at all really! I still remember how hyped everyone was (including me) when they announced exo zombies. You gotta do the Easter eggs plz 🙏 and you’re carrying the zombies community rn brotha so keep up the good content 🙌
This was always my favorite non-treyarch zombies mode tbh. Also, you played all the "forgotten" modes, but didn't even talk about nightmares on BO3....
I legit waited soo long for you to play Exo Zombies, I love that mode so much. They had really nice ideas and the maps are also so good. You need to try the Easter egg. This mode is so underrated
I feel like one of the few who actually enjoy most exo zombies (except borgor), my little brother had this for his zombies growing up so I always played with him
Advanced warfare multi was probably my favorite behind only black ops 2. It was so much fun and felt unique. It wasn't trying to copy anything and it felt super unique. Plus doing the movements in different patterns always felt satisfying
The lore behind the exo zombies is that they dropped a bomb onto this specific place that made the dead come back alive And the main characters were workers for Atlas (the corporation that got hit with the bomb if I recall-comment section should be able to let me know if I’m right or wrong) and the goal of the main characters is to put a stop to the zombies
Honestly I enjoyed Exos because how unique and difficult it was but I wouldn't mind a continuation of it but they definitely could learn from the previous and improve on it if they ever decide to.
im 18 years old, I was in 6th grade when it came out, and out of all the CODS, i had the most hours on Advanced Warfare. would literally played for hours and hours and wouldnt get bored. multiplayer was so fire, campaign was nice. I spent SO MUCH MONEY on supply drops. loved this game, and the memories that came with it.
Me and my brother actually went for high-ish rounds in Burger Town and Outbreak, and let me tell you it gets waaaay more interesting after your fully kitted out. Sure the survivor mechanic is annoying and the sewers are a death sentence if you don’t know what your doing but if you’ve got monkeys and a halfway decent weapon it’s actually pretty fun to fly around the map training a huge hoard of zombies. I think the highest round we ever got to was like 52. The guns eventually fall off no matter how many times you pap them but the grenades and drops scale infinitely.
@12:13 I noticed you were trying to use the mystery box like a treyarch box. In AW it's not randomized you actually have to time the hits based on what gun is showing up on your screen to get what you want :) keep up the good work though!
So some notes and tips: 1. Use your jump. You cant play this like the other call of duties, you need to abuse the fact that you have extra mobility, and you will see higher rounds in no time. 2. Exo slam stops killing at like round 5 tbh. However, in later rounds it knocks down all zombies in your landing zone, bying you enough tike to safely take to the skies once more, its deceptivly useful. 3. Exo Stockpile indeed gives you more ammo capacity for your weapons, in addition, it gives you one extra capacity for lethal and tactical grenade slots, at the end of a round it replenishes both by TWO instead of 1. 4. You may have noticed that there are those things called "contact grenades". Buy them. You can use them to blow up the ground you're standing on wothout damaging yourself, like Raygun + Flopper. Even at higher rounds when it no longer kills zombies, it acts like a stun grenade. 5. The S-12 is god-like. 6. In this game, past a certain rounds, you want to do the most to stay out of confined areas, such as corridors, hallways, low ceiling rooms etc. Exo zombies have pretty beefy reach, coupled with exo suit movement, its very difficult to try to juke them on the ground. Stay in the air. 7. Yes upgrading the weapons does marginally increase damage. In addition to reloading the weapon, every 3 levels, you will gain an attatchment for the gun in question, up to level 11. Every weapon can be upgraded every 20 times. Even if you get rid of a weapon, the level retains its upgraded status. 8. Dont be afraid to use the traps, they're actually pretty decent in this game, and most aren't dangerous for you. The traps on Carrier in particular are very nice (I am refering to chompy, which acts as a very logn lasting taunt). Security turns on all traps for a short time. 9. Pick up your god-damned orbital drops. They slap, especially the SQUAD. They're more useful than most team mates tbh. 10. There's a map on the pause menu that shows you were everything is. :/ 11. You'll no doubt ask yourself at what point what Exo Soilder does, so I'll just tell you: it allows you to switch guns faster, ADS faster, Shoot while sprinting and move faster while ADS'ing. You are The Fast, all round nice little perk.
I played so much Exo zombies, I could write a whole essay about all the cool stuff you could do. I will drop a tip for those terrifying infection rounds though, when it starts, just train. Don't kill any of them, just get the train working till they stop spawning. Then turn and unload a bit, and then immediately resume training as more spawn in. Controlling the spawns with a train and keeping eyes forward is key to these rounds. One hit in a normal round is whatever, one hit in infection? It can force you into a tight area where you might get trapped. Infection rounds are best played slow and cautious, be on the defensive. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Honestly, I discovered this channel today, and it seems like Chrrism and I have very different opinions on a lot of zombies maps, but I respect his opinion and I find it really cool that different players have such different opinions, really shows that zombies overall have catered to all kinds of different players so that everyone finds different maps and mechanics they can enjoy. As an aspiring game dev, I will always have zombies as an inspiration as to what I want my games to be.
Haha after binging many of your videos I was upset to find you didn’t have at least a video about exo zombies. Great timing and upload as always Chrissm!
I loved exo zombies because it actually challenges the player by making them quickly come up with a solution to their problems, usually losing the exo suit. Burger town forcing players out of an area because they didn’t complete a challenge means you can’t just sit in the same area and need to adapt. As much as I loved black ops 3 for its story, none of the maps are replayable. Being able to easily get to round 100 just isn’t fun and I ain’t doin the Easter egg every time I wanna play der eisendrache.
I got the first and last map, to be honest it was one of my favourite because it actually was diferent than treyarch ones And the fact that you did not upgraded ur guns much hurted me XD
29:35 - Aye, that's Oz (John Malkovic), you can play as him in the first 2 maps, where he was some unassuming ATLAS janitor, at the end of Infection, the cutscene where Bruce Campbell's character (Can't remember name) is introduced, kills Oz because he's patient zero for the zombie outbreak, in the later cutscenes we see him attacking or meeting the characters again, in a progressively more infected state. These fights are him reaching his final form.
From someone who had played exo zombies quite a bit i can say a few things; 1.) Pap works like bo4 increases damage all the way to mk20 and giving full ammo and attachments every few upgrades. 2.) The first few EE are pretty easy but decent is hard af imo. 3.) The blunderbuss is a decent exclusive and is the best weapon to get on that map. 4.) High round for all 4 maps are above 150 and for all 4 getting past round 30 is an accomplishment for any casual player. :)
Back when exo zombies came out I remember scrolling through twitch to see who was streaming it and I stumbled across one streamer who had no more than like 20 viewers but he caught my eye and I kept up with him, that streamer was mrroflwaffles… it was the name that I really liked hahah it was unique but it’s crazy to see how far he’s come since
Hey Chrrism! Thanks to your videos I've regained my joy for zombies. (The Treyarch kind) After many years. I'd have Steam friends I would play with when I was like 15-17, we played modded W@W zombies, Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2. But after so many years, I'm 24 now, I've lost those "online friends", everybody irl somewhat too, I mean I just have those people that don't really game anymore. I'd watch SyndicateProject doing crazy high rounds and stuff when I was a kid too. But after all these years I discovered your channel when you had like 12k subs and you have brought that nostalgia for me! I recently bought Black Ops 3 with all dlc. Was choosing between Bo3 and Bo4 but since Bo3 has mod/steam workshop support. I chose Bo3. My question is would you be able to post some videos with tutorials for maps? Like Eisendrache, how to get the bow, where jug is, simple stuff. Sure I could watch mrdalek or GlitchingQueen but I want you, your style. I just want to get back into Zombies after all these years :)
The infection rounds are what most people hate, but all you have to do is stand on the disinfect platform and wait to get swarmed and then turn it on. It kills the special zombies and gives you active camo. Early rounds you can kill them all in one activation, later you just use the camo to get out of the room and come back in like 30 seconds to activate it again. Also, carrier is one of the most fun non treyarch maps ever and has more replay value to me. You can't just train in circles for 100 rounds, you have tons of space but EMZ's and special zombies make you strategically use that space or you get punished.
PaP in exo zombies gives your weapons a boost in damage (like 10-15% each level), refills your ammo and gives attachments. You can PaP your weapons up to Mk.20 with the normal station, and 25 with the special station
So the person that teleports you into a mini-boss fight is Oz. He was the janitor that was in Atlas Cooperation and he was a part of the squad in the first 2 maps. He turned infected when he bit a zombie during the beginning cutscene for the map 'Infection'. He was then turned into a zombie boss with little type of him inside of his DNA as his brain turns into a zombified brain.
IMO People trashed exo zombies And honestly I absolutely LOVED Exo zombies. The Cel-3 was and still is my favorite gun of all time. NBS the excitement I felt getting lucky and pulling that out of the 3D printer nothing could top that. Slamming the shark tank, frying the meat, riding the the trap in container into the secret room. Being transported to the fight with Oz! The Easter Eggs were great in all 4 maps. It was so different than everything we were use to, and it was refreshing to see such a dramatic difference on a game mode. They weren’t scared to think outside the box from the redundant same ol same ol
I've only played outbreak, but this zombies was really damn fun due to the secrets and gimmicks in the maps, pretty sure there was a super pack a punch easter egg in outbreak.
The lore is,on the first map,the character you play as dies on carrier and turns into a mutant zombie which is the ee on carrier. On descent,Oz(the character) fights you again and you kill him
I really loved Advanced Warfare. One of the few cods I played competitively. Remembering hitting master prestige and getting banned😂. Was such a hated COD, but tbh it’s one of my favorites. This game legitimately gave me hope that I could be a pro player
I always keep the door under the atlas sign closed so I can camp by pack a punch with turrets, it's very effective wait for last few zombies and make you run around the map
The upgrade system is a little complicated bc there are 20 upgrade levels and if you complete an ee you can upgrade 5 more times, but there's not too much difference between singular PaP levels but lvl1 comoared to lvl20 is pretty crazy
I stopped watching zombies RU-vidrs a while back, they all sounded and acted the same but this guys different, idk why, but to me it feels more “genuine”? Whatever it is he’s got me wanting to go back and play the old zombies maps. Keep up the great work man!
Yo genuinely I have SO MUCH LOVE for exozombies, it’s a close second to treyarch zombies, cuz it was something new and unique, I thoroughly played the hell out of it, and in fact it’s the only cod game I bought all the dlc for, just to play all the expzombies maps
The story on expo zombies is pretty cool can’t lie but carrier is easily one of the funniest maps didn’t play infection much though was too complicated but definitely might go back and play all them again as well
29:34 yes? 😂 many many people do, hes a janitor named Oz, he was one of the characters in Exo Zombies but he died and was resurrected as a self aware zombie like Richtofen, its part of the whole story
Exo-Zombies had big growing pains for being the first non-Treyarch Zombies and also coming out before BO3. They didn't get the appeal of Zombies and tried to imitate it. Then they over course corrected by trying to be two different in the final two maps. I would have liked if the Atlas DNA bomb that caused the outbreak served as a global EMP, so there's no exo-abilities and it's about civilians surviving a futuristic apocalypse where the tech doesn't work properly.
My highest ever round was 30 on Carrier. Definitely need the Limbo and Cel-3 though. AW is hands down my favorite CoD. It was the only one I was actually really, really good at. The weapons were so good with awesome variants. Zombies was a ton of fun too. All around it was a dope time.
if you want a condensed story- atlas is very bad and they make zombies, for some reason 4 individuals are immune (mostly) to the virus, one of them being oz (the guy you played as in this video in outbreak), he gets shot by the sentinels at the end of the burgertown map by lennox the new 4th character, oz then turns into a zombie because it turns out somehow oz is patient zero of the zombies. you kill him in descent.
Exo zombies is my favorite zombies game, many new mechanics, an intriguing and not to hard to understand story, fun Easter eggs that aren’t extremely hard to do, coolest Easter egg steps, great and new characters, easy even for beginners, great graphics, the list goes on. And my favorite zombie games are the non tre-arch ones (exo zombies still #1) for multiple reasons hey strayed away from the normal zombies formula, it provides so many new things, there’s even certain ee steps that have secret mechanics, and the first ee even has an alternate ending if you melee only! (If you don’t do the alternate ending, you get a secret pap machine that gives you the power to pap to 25) and it’s easy to play as well, while also being difficult for normal zombies players, and there’s mechanics that even veterans don’t know about. (Example, the atlas 45 (starting pistol has 65 ammo to start, but if you get a max ammo, you only get a maximum of 60 ammo back. Exo slam allows you do do a badass slam on the ground by pressing and holding the B button (on Xbox) while being in the air. The starting pistol takes 5 bullets to kill per round (r1: 5shots, r2: 10 shots and so on) I’ve gotten to round 12 with that mechanic. When you have the exo-suit, you punch is actually better in multiple ways, it’s faster, has better cooldown, and intsakills up to round 5 and 2 punches up to round 10, and also insta kills the first dog round, and if your doing multiplayer, if you die while infected, your character comes back as a stronger zombie with a new skin)
I remember playing exo zombies on my 360 and i tried to go to the highest round i can get in outbreak, but the max that i get it was round 18 or 16,because of how exo zombies on xbox 360 runs
So that guy you fight in descent, that’s oz he’s originally one of the members of your crew on the first map before getting infected and becoming the main villain for the exozombies crew, and he’s voiced by John malkovich
Pap on exo zombies gives you an attachment every 5 upgrades and increases your damage. It is totally worth it. It feels like it does nothing because the zombie health increases too.
Carrier is the only map I like from Advanced Warfare, it’s actually a lot of fun. Most people would say Decent is their favorite however that is only good for Easter Egg IMO
Upgrading your weapon increases damage by a little bit and can give it an attachment as well so along with the slight damage upgrade per weapon, you might also get a faster reload or better accuracy due to the attachment provided.
Chrrism: AI assault drone Also Chrrism: I thought it was manual 😂😂😂 This makes me wanna go back to my zombies challenges and try out challenges on exo zombies for some reason 😅
12:16 You replacing the MAHEM was painful, it's one of the best rocket launchers in all of zombies. Also at 13:08 you could've used camouflage which is just like In Plain Sight from bo3.
