Hey loves! In an effort to give myself some grace in the kitchen I decided to try FACTOR meals for a few days. In this video I discuss my HONEST opinion about the meals. #factor #review
to be fair if you want healthy foods made from real chiefs and shipping you have to pay a little extra because i door dash a lot and i would save more money with factor if i really wanted to than door dash
I'm going with this option over the others I've looked at. I spend WAY too much money on DoorDash, so even these expensive ready-to-eat meals are relatively "cheap" for me. And they're still delivered, and always hot!
Just calculated how much I spend on DoorDash and I’m embarrassed. Factor is a healthy alternative for roughly around the same price for me. Especially since I buy expensive groceries just to door dash in the end. So factor it is!
Thank you for an honest review! I watched a few other review and felt like they were just sponsored reviews. I'm gonna give this a shot for a week to taste them for myself.
I am going to start working with Factor this week. I’m so excited and decided to check out reviews and other videos. Thank you for such a thorough video. 💜
You could make the meals “cheaper” but try to account in the ride time/gas/time shopping/time cooking/ and worst of all time it takes to do the dishes and cost of dawn/sponges/brushes/dish detergent.
Great video sis, I have been eating these meals for months and some I like alot and some not so much. I was looking for something to eat healthy because I'm a truck driver and really don't have time to cook. Overall I give the meals an 8 out of 10
Thanks for your comment. I'm a truck driver(local) also and work 12 to 14 hours a day. I don't have time to cook either. I will be giving the calorie smart plan a try. Gotta drop a few lbs.
@taylormurray9834 u can order the same ones, but every week they have different options to choose from. I usually get a couple chicken and steak and something new if they have one.
Got my first box today and am eating a risotto meal right now. Tastes great, however I’m concerned about the salt content… this thing has 900mg of salt? That’s insane
@@jacksonjr84 I'm retired & live alone. You can freeze bread, canned chicken, cooked rice, almost everything if you don't use all of it. There are great RU-vid videos covering it. Has saved me lots if money.
Thanks for this video, it’s very helpful! I’m pregnant and preparing myself and family for postpartum life and needed to know how this subscription was.
I’m glad it helped ! Truthfully factor would definitely help make postpartum easier when it comes to meal planning! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum experience 💖
I love the high protein and meal size. It will be perfect for my VSG because I have slipped on my program. Can you skip breakfast on the plan since i have yogurt and a protein drinks.
I received 8 vegan meals and so far had 2. Like the other commentors said, the sodium content is high so I'm going to pass. I'm sure the price includes convenience, but like you said, it's a good way to find recipes and foods I wouldn't normally incorporate in my diet. Very tasty tho.
I felt the exact same as you. I have only tried one meal so far. It was a BBQ one. It was Ok but a little smaller portion than i was expecting and out of TV dinners i didnt think it was the healthiest. 11:13 I got them on promotion so with the promotion i felt it was a good deal but FuLL price i just couldn’t justify.
I know this is older video but I feel like those meal are for single people that just want something different then the stores offer for microwave meals. My husband would flip if I made microwave meals everyday lol. Also I just start HelloFresh and the only thing I really don’t like is the meals are not family friendly meaning to spicy or things kids just won’t eat because of the sauces. After having kids my taste has gotten so plain too that even things were weird to me. I’m use to like regular tacos, spaghetti sauce and steak and potatoes lol. I’m going to give it another week but if they don’t have more meals my kids will eat then going to have to figure out something else because a lot of their meal are either spicy, oriental, real Mexican, etc what I’m saying not American lol I just wanted new twist to American meals but not overboard anyone know a company that sells those meals lol
They probably put a ton of zero calorie MSG sauces all over it to make it have salt flavor that’s why the sodium is always high. I don’t get full after eating one either.
I'm glad you pointed out the sodium. I'm conscious of that and can't allow myself to buy factor for that reason. Sodium content is supposed to be monitored for health too
I've kept a few to keep in freezer . It chills or freezes things quickly like hoping your ice cream doesn't melt from the grocery store or chill a quick drink. Also good to freeze it and use kn insulate coolet
@@HayleSmith-19 I recently got it for 2 weeks. I find it’s good in a pinch, but the meals become less satisfying after a while. I do love the add-ons like the juices.
Their meal service in my opinion only works if you’re trying to do keto because you need more fat and salt otherwise you’ll feel sick since your body flushes its electrolytes and your body uses fat for fuel.
I am.starting Ozempic next week and am hoping that these meals.will help me lose weight.i am on metaformin.and i hate the headaches hopefully i can lose 50 pds.
TOTAL SCAM!!! I signed up for the service, followed the prompts, and 10 minutes later decided to cancel the service. They charged me $60 regardless of the cancellation saying that I had "missed the cut-off." Apparently I got interested, and signed into their service all within the last 10 minutes to spare. Seem outrageously convenient for them? It is. They refuse to give my money back and are wasting the first box of food by shipping it to my home even though I won't be home. This company cares more about stealing your wallet than providing an up-front and honest experience. No reason I should be charged. No reason my$60 shouldn't be coming back to me for a cancelled service. You mean to tell me March 30th within 10 minutes of scrolling isn't enough time to keep them from charging me for June 6th? Come on guys. This is a scam and they'll be out of business soon.
They did the same thing to me. I cancel 10 minutes after creating the account on May 31, 2023. Then I receied a text message on June 5, 2023 that they were going to delivery the meals and that I can not cancel the subscribtion and when call customer service and they refuse to cancel the order and informed me that I should have cancel on June2, 2023 when my credit card was billed. I have the E-mail from FACTOR confirming my cancellation on May 31, 2023.
The sodium content is a deal breaker. That’s usually the issue with the ready to eat meals. At least with hello Fresh you can control the sodium amount a bit.
