The coloring apps with weekly charges are 100% scams trying to get kids to accidentally charge their parents cards for the apps, and hope that parents don't notice 4 smaller charges on their statement
When your hair matches your outfit and your background XD I also recommend using Ibis Paint X! You don't have to purchase anything! You can watch an add to get more features! It's what I use and it records your art for you!
I don’t like how it asks if you want more screen space by putting ads there. Like, sometimes I get an ad that says “want more screen space? Buy no ads!” LIKE WHY DO YOU PUT IT?!
You should try Ibis Paint X. I used it for a while and it's a really good art app. It has alot of features but is still sumplistic enough to use. It also saves a video of everything You do and you can download them any time you want. There are so many features, and they keep adding more. Plus you can just watch a commercial to use all the brushes free for 18 hours; as many times as you want. It also doesn't have a limited time of being free, you can use it without paying for as long as you want.
I've used sketchbook and the free version won't let you go over three layers. I love love ibs Paint X, witch is a drawing software that is free up to a bunch of fancy brushs (witch you can just get for a short time by watching an ad) I always use it for coloring and shading
the pro version of Sketchbook, which is only 5 dollars, is extremely professional, and lets you use a multitude of things. yes you have to pay, but only once and it's affordable.
Ibis Paint is free, its pretty good because you can watch and add and get all the brushes free for 18 hours rather than getting the Ibis Paint X which costs money ;0
Gotta be real dude, the sims 4 is amazing for designing homes. (I rarely actually play the sims for the sims i use it for art 😂) and if you don't know how to build a house and make it look good you can download homes other people shared off the gallery and change little things to make it your own. There's also multiple camera angles you can use, you can add and take away lights to change shadows and highlights, scale up and down object all you gotta do is press pause and your sim wont get in the way.
I really like using that app as well except I love the sketching tools and love the fact they have copics colors cuz I'm cheap and don't wanna waste on buying copics
Autodesk sketchbook is my favorite art app. It has an option for recording your screen and will speed it up. That is how I do my speed paints. I use it for everything. I love that they now give you the advanced features free! I say to use it if you don't want to pay like 50 dollars for an art app. I love Autodesk sketchbook! 10/10 for this free app.
Me: binges supernatural **sees echo video notification** Me: CLICK NOW also me: BUT THIS EPISODE IS GOOD Me: compromise *so here I am watching echo on my phone and supernatural on my TV, eyes darting back and forth between both*
In case you’re interested, the Sketchbook Pro ( the Sketchbook paid version ) is totally worth it. You can have it both on mobile devices and computers, and you have lots of great options to work with. You should check that out!
If you were looking for a free app for digital art I would recommend IbisPaintX! I absolutely love this app and I use it to post my speedpaints on my instagram. I totally recommend it!
The_True_Child Well, to me the free version of ibis is substantially better than the free version of sketchbook, the limited layers was one of the deal breakers for me. Though I agree that the paid version of Autodesk is pretty good for the cost.
The_True_Child Same, Ibis overwhelmed me, but if you start with watching their tutorials or only use the basic essential functions, its a really good app. What won me over though was the layer modes and the ability for a clipping mask, which I desperate need when Ive become accustomed to them
I just found your channel and this video. I think I should recommend IbisPaint X, I use the app and I believe it's very useful. It doesn't exactly cost any money except for in-app purchase which is mainly just getting rid of ads. I personally think it's a good digital art app, good for digital artists to use because it's not exactly complex yet also not super simple
An all you can try is, ibis paint x, it’s free but there are adds if you want more brushes, I use it for all my art. I think it’s pretty good for a cheap artist how can’t afford a laptop and drawing tablet
Xylia Blackwood I transferred to Ibis Paint when I got my new IPad because they took my favorite app Sketchbook Express, off the App Store. And I really like Ibis paint so far.
Google sketchup is really similar to that second home design app you tried, and it's free! It's a bit harder to pick up without watching tutorials in my opinion, but it's useful for a free drawing reference!
Sketches actually was only 1 dollar for the full version , but ibisPaint X is a lot better to spend a dollar on because it has loads more brushes you can change the layer opacity etc. I personally Still like sketches but I agree with echo that it’s not the best :P
U should try ibisPaint X .w. It’s a drawing app similar, (perhaps better) than sketchbook. It lets you rotate the canvas, which I have found really helps, and it is completely free. You can unlock ALL of the brushes, which they have many of, with just one ad every 18 hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is on a low budget.
mayo potato I use IbisPaint X, too blend you use blur and stuff, the effects and tutorials are amazing, and quality is good. Really nice to make speedpaints on and tween on.
I like Adobe illustrator, Adobe sketch, photoshop, sketchbook, and ibis paint x, also Adobe illustrator has a back and forward button and once you get the hang of it, it is really good
you should check ibisPaint X, it's AMAZING, i draw ally art on it, there are multiple brushes (the size is easy to change), there is a forward and back button, you can blend and MUCH more! (i swear I'm not an robot XD, i just love this app so much) AND it's FREE!
To answer a lot of the price comments, I have been using Sketchbook by Autodesk for over 2 years now, their prices vary in the season. Around Christmas time it's like $1.99 USD as a stocking stuffer I imagine then the price changes to $4.99USD. They used to have two separate apps, but now it's a single app. Trust me, for a "simple" app, it's VERY useful and I highly recommend it to any artist willing to pay the fee for reliability.
the app Interior Design is pretty useful! I use it on my ipad and it took around half an hour to fully get used to it but after that it’s simple to use!
YES!! me as well! I use it to make speed draws for my channel, and It has so much for being free. It has helped me learn to use other programs like photoshop
Ibis Paint X is what I use. It was super easy to pick up, and pretty simple to use. Everything is really nice and fleshed out. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good drawing app for your phone or tablet.
I started off using sketchbook, but it doesn’t let you go over 3 layers, so I recently upgraded to MediBang Paint which i find alot better in most ways
Personally, what I use for a room/ landscape reference is the Sims 4. It’s not free, but it works well. (EDIT) It is because you can always change up the environment. I use Procreate as well.
Sketchbook is awesome. The computer version has way more brushes you can download some are made by other artists that you cam fully customize. Also a whole copic marker catalog of all there colors. Its my fav
I've been using sketchbook for over 2 years now and I love it. It's not that good with realism, but for what I do it's worth it. And I remember it did cost money for the brushes, but seeing how you access them with out I am really confused right now... PS. The icon that I have as of this moment is made with that program
Swimmer Otter I recommend the sketchbook that has the pencil in the picture and orange background the full version is definitely worth it and I'm very picky with stuff like that but yeah definitely worth it
I use an app called Sketch on my phone. Its simple and you can download sticker packs to use. The main thing is that it doesnt have allot of brushes and it does have sliders to adjust the size for the brushes and the erasers but it can be annoying at times because it laggs a bit. Its free and it has layering. I'm not entirely sure if it has the transparent option but its a good app to use if your starting out. Or if your in it for the long term kinda thing then you'll need to learn more about the app by playing around and making art pieces with the brushes you like the most. It also has different options to add a new canvase or insert image as well as a color slider, basic colors to use and you can share your work within the app itself. I like the app and i use it constantly to digitalize some of my art and I make original art on the app without previous or existing traditional pieces-- The point is, I think you might like the app and I stongly Suggest you play around with it. Because if you don't have a tablet/iPad/MacBook etc, it'll be a good app to use on the go if you have some things like commissions or requests you need to get done. And if you'd like you can contact me on facebook by searching up the same name as my RU-vid profile if you want me to help find the app if needed.
One art app that is AMAZING is IBISPAINTX! It's really cool and i use it ALL the time! It's free and you can constantly watch adds to get 18 hours with all the brushes!
13:50 at the time of making this it may have been different but there’s an advanced settings feature that allows you to change the textures and stuff of your brushes actually
The interior design app (the second one) reminded me of when I had to design a whole house from lighting, cabinets, furniture and all that for a school project and I was a week late since it took so long to do
A really good drawing program I use is called ibis paint x and it's free, but u have to watch adds if u want to get certain brushes, unless u want to buy them U should check it out, tho it takes a bit getting used to all the different things u can do on there cuz there are so many :p
You should REALLY try krita its so detailed and professional and FREE . The best part is it's exactly like photoshop but totally free THERE IS NOT EVEN IN APP PURSHASES . ITS AMAZING
Sosiffwa I love krita in the terms of its variety of brushes but for me, it lacks the user-friendly interface. Until now I still don't know how to rotate the canvas. Also the brush pointer (the brush on your computer thing) is very annoying because it's oddly shaped. If only its just a simple circle pointer (like in fireaplaca) I might use krita more. Also, it's very heavy and crashes quite a lot.
GO STREAM BLACK SUIT BY SUPER JUNIOR i have to agree with you since i feel like krita might be a little complicated for some poepole but personally i use krita all the time since it offers a lot of tools and brushes .
GO STREAM BLACK SUIT BY SUPER JUNIOR at least for me the different shape brush indicators helps just because it gives a better idea of the what the brush looks like, and at least for doing highly painterly things i find it looks better when the brush strokes aren’t just basic circle shapes, but i suppose thats mostly preference
Floor Plan Creator is free, and lets you make whole floors of a house, nor just one room. You have to save floors seperately though. It just doesn't have texture packs for like brick or something. I wanted to do a writing exercise describing a long abandoned house, and the program helped me visualize how all the rooms would connect, and where furniture would be. You can have both flat floor plans, and 3D interiors for free. Fair warning, stairs only go up in 3D mode, they can't look like they're going to a lower floor.
I just downloaded Magic Poser, and ohmygod it's so good! I love that you can actually move the hips and such! It really helps create a more natural pose, and the lighting helps too!
