It's so dope to see potato jet reviewing this camera. He is one of my favorite channels. I like the fun and realness in his video.

Make sure you don't overuse the desaturated and moody look of most film simulations like Classic Chrome. You might get addicted.

The dynamic range setting doesn't raise the shadows. Fuji cameras have dual analog gain circuits to give them dual native ISO. When the dynamic range setting is off, the camera only uses the gain circuit that drives it's respective ISO range. When it's enabled, the camera uses both gain circuits in tandem to pull more range out of the highlights. You have to shoot at a minimum ISO to get the full effect with DR 400 (on the XT4 it's ISO 640), so it can be somewhat limiting. It also works with F-LOG AFAIK, giving it even more dynamic range. The one caveat is that the camera decides when to actually apply the effect. It will automatically decide based on the image if it needs the extra dynamic range or not. @@k1k13004 yeah that’s interesting! Nostalgic neg works great in soft outdoor light tho!

The X-H2 and X-H2s has really good auto focus but it takes some tweaking in the settings depending on the situation and subject movement, all this can be stored to the C1-C7 for different situations. I have full custom focus setting on all of them and I almost never miss focus.

I don't think so. I tried on my xh2s. This option is called F-Log VIEW ASSIST and the manual says: "Select ON to display a tone-corrected preview (equivalent to BT.709) when recording or viewing F-log movies."@@sarazinosarazino557

Yeah I have an XH2s and the autofocus still isn't quite like Canon's :( unfortunately but I think it's good enough, and all the other Fuji goodness makes up for it I think! Give it a shot!

@@boomshiddang for sure that’s what I was thinking, I was looking into getting a Fuji mainly for street photography so I don’t think the best auto focus should be a big deal breaker

@@caleb_n All solid choices for street! I personally would go for the X100F as it's the most discreet. I've done a bunch of videos on it on my channel if you're curious!

Are you using a vertical grip? Fuji cameras tend to freeze if you over-tighten those. If not it's usually an SD card problem.

Damn you screwed up. It took 2-3 seconds becuase you probably had a bunch of settings on that make the image render. Do the same thing to the xh2s and it will also take 3 seconds. Adding things like clarity etc that slow the camera down. Switch the drive mode and it cuts settings that slow the camera down
