I had to find the restaurant by using the Solid.N apartment, Lawson, and Sukiya for reference. The address is 3 Chome-3-３０ Danbara, Minami-ku, Hiroshima-shi, Hiroshima-ken 732-0811, Japan and Google does have it as a ramen restaurant funnily enough. It looked amazingly tasty and warming for a chilly day. Lovin' the daily vids, but please don't exhaust yourselves to the point of illness on our account.

Yo Shinichi! Thank you for the great video :) It has really reinvigorated me too get back to Hiroshima! I spent 5 days there in 2017 and loved the place.

The spice is probably Sichuan peppercorns, which are numbing rather than burning!

Is it unusual that it's so cold in Hiroshima? We'll be there towards the end of January and thought it might be more moderate. We'll have winter gear for Hokkaido, so we'll have plenty of warm gear with us.

Welcome home boys..... The Tantanmein looked delicious! Especially, with the addition of the gohan at the end. I’ve only tried this dish one time in my life-unfortunately, it did not sit well with me, as I was pregnant at the time. After watching this video, I’d like to give it a try again. If you ever go back to SF you have to try the Szechuan Cuisine Restaurant in Outer Sunset. They make the most amazing dan dan mein, maps tofu and iron pot fish fillet!

I hope you guys take this comment with some humor but I know Shinichi was the main person who was talking and a second set of voices was coming from the TV or radio, but who does the other voice belong to? It sounded like a faint echo and at one point was also sharing the instructions on how many times you have to stir the noodles to mix in the flavors... the sounds that I can pick up through my headphones when to watching videos on youtube.
