I wonder which civilized person, whether Indian or foreign, would like Indian culture that's high on squalor, noise, superstition, patriarchy, communal divide, casteism, ill-educated and miseducated masses, clutter, lack of ethics, monotonous foods that look and taste the same, disrespect of people's privacy and pollution.
As an indian, 🇮🇳 I Truly appreciate the patience you guys show towards the honking.🔊📢 I wish the nuisance didn't exist. It would make our country sooo much more enjoyable for everyone. Everytime a vehicle behind me honks for no reason, i just slow down and ask what did he achieve by doing that.. they have no answer.. ! One day, one day it will change.
Hi Chris I am from Mumbai an avid follower of your videos. The videos are very interesting and keeps the viewer glued purely because of the simple yet effective conversation you have with locals and foodies. I like the way you say "Koi masa nahin". While the right word is Masla. Am amazed at the way you have grasped Hindi. Proud of your eagerness to learn various languages. Keep up the good work and looking forward for more videos. Last but not the least my daughter Srishti (13 yrs) feels you are very cute. Take care 😊👍
Chris I literally Live in South Bombay. I could definitely Show you around. I saw your Pani Puri Vlog at Marine Drive, your reaction to it was Interesting i'd say. My college is just in the lane next to Intercontinental, Jai Hind College if you've heard of it. Well anyways, I am very excited to see both of you exploring these places like tourists, places which we see normally everyday. It makes me rethink my perspective about these places! (also im serious about the showing around part, id be glad to do so) Kudos:)
So the watermelon Milkshake it just watermelon flavored milk with small pieces of Watermelon in it hence it costs 20 whereas Watermelon Juice is made purely by Watermelon, Now you know the difference
The juice guy didn't scam you. The 2 pots in the front of the shop with the ready to drink juice in it were ₹10 & ₹20 for small and large respectively. They are made from sugar, artificial syrup, some of the cheapest skimmed milk, and just a little bit of fruit. The shopkeeper also asked if you wanted the ready ones or fresh fruit juice. However, I think there was some miscommunication due to language gap
@@foodpostive1401 The poster is for pre made juices that have little fresh fruit. The real fruit juice is more. If he wanted to rip him off, he wouldn't hang the price on the posters. Think about it. Logically the guy cut p a fresh watermelon for him.
@@jaym7479 Come on, Don't support such activities. I travel to Mumbai 2-3 times a year and I know for sure they took foreigners' prices. Btw watermelon of that size is 30rs in retail. In wholesale no more than 20rs. One can make 8 glasses. So even if you put in all the labor and electricity charges you earn 5 per glass if you sell 20rs per glass. The pre-juice contains ice, lots of sugar, and no flavor. Btw no one uses flavors in watermelon juice. It's the cheapest fruit and is available in large quantities in summary.
Chris, you should have purchased two Shawarma's instead of one & you offered only one bite to Max that looked mean 😬 Especially when Max always buys food for you. He is very kind-hearted guy 😊
Just because you are foreigners they made juice with a lot of watermelon usually they use sugar to make it sweet so 50 ₹ is really fair price 🙏👍👍👍👍😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Dear Chris ,🤗 I really love 🥰you so much because I feel that you are like my elder brother.🙎🏻 As a sister,👩🏼💼 I suggest you to visit religious places⛩️ in India🇮🇳 like Jagarnath Puri Temple , Kedarnath Temple, Vrindavan shaam ,etc. . This will be give you wonderful experience in your life . Your soul is filled with curiousity and love with nature. I really love your vlogs. I am waiting for your new vlog brother (bhaiya).
Foreigners are not allowed inJagannath temple. Even Indians like the great krishna devotee Chaitanya Mahaprabhu of Bengal was not allowed to have darshan of the so called Jagannath. The pandas of Jagannath temple even killed him and threw his body in the sea. They still don't allow the foreign ISKCON members to enter the temple of so called the God of the Universe. What would you like to show them at Puri?
Hi Chris, I would really like you to try Malvani food that is a specialty of Mumbai / Maharashtra. You won’t find Malvani food anywhere out of Mumbai and the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Eager to watch your reaction on Malvani fish thaali and other delicacies
Last week of March 23,begins the Muslim Holy month of Ramadhan and fasting thru day and feasting after sunset. That time Mohammad Ali Road food treats multiply many times and variety of food is available thru the while night till dusk.
Chris+ max 🔥 Btw, Chris, the bill for 2 glasses costs 100, bcs you had order fresh watermelon juice, and it was without milk, so you got the pure form of it, I think it was definitely worth it.
No they were scammed. Pure watermelon juice was for rs 20 as written on those hanging advertisements. In pune we get pure watermelon juice on streets for around 30 -40 max. Mumbai street food is cheaper than pune.
With many foreigners youtubers coming to India🥰 Chris is my favourite🥰 regards from north east india, please visit north east india in the near future❤🥰
Go to Indian hotel for their rolls and baida roti. Also, try bara handi. Last stop taj ice cream and the kabab guy across from them. They have khiri (udder) kababs. Also go to do taanki for seekh and paratha.
Those 2 jars contain what is called as milk colddrink... With littl fruit content essence milk and ice that drink is 10₹ 20₹ full n half respectively. Separately prepared drinks shakes does costs more. Anyways this is a recent shop there are 3 shops in and around Bohri Mohalla that are more than 50 years old serving milk cold-drinks should have tried there. I would have hosted you if I was in India.
Hi Chris, I saw in one of your videos you were trying to figure out what ‘Bhalo tea’ meant. The word ‘bhalo’ in Bangla means ‘good’. So, ‘bhalo tea’ would mean ‘good tea’. We use ‘bhalo’ as a prefix or as single word to mean good. For ex: Bhalo jayga means good place. Bhalo juice means good juice. So on…..
Just realised how challenging it can be to vlog in India, with the loud noise and chaos. And things keep getting awkward because people enter your personal space
if you really think this is beautiful and we don't have anything else then take a look at our old ancient temples and monuments .the western world has always portrayed us negative sheds
