My favorite ramen is the Myojo Chukazanmai miso or oriental ramen. I like Demai itcho. Sorry, I don't know how to spell it. In Hawaii, I can only find it in Chinatown or the Chinese Cultural Plaza for some reason.
Thankyou for your research , always enjoy watching you boys , your coloured shirt fabulous , we need more colours and brightness in our lives and you are a great inspiration
Groente is veggie :) And yes you remembered correcty, kip is chicken. It is a bit like the Dutch chicken soup so it is probably more like chicken broth noodles. They have a lot of those unox good noodles here, also with soup I think. We prefer the good pasta from this brand over the good noodles. I use the demae chicken ramen to make Satoshi's ramen pizza (a very old video but still often made here). If you go to the Asian supermarket here in the Netherlands they have a lot of more Chinese flavoured demae ramen.
We started getting international flavors and brands in my area and i been having fun trying everything that's unknown to me 🤓 At the part were you're trying momofuku ramen. The noodles aren't fried like regular instant ramen, they're air dried or something like that 🤔 They're also pricey for instant ramen. Paid $12 for a 5 pack at target 🎯
Another amazing video! Love yall! I usually shop at an Asian grocery store but on the rare chance I'm in the mood for Maruchan Beef (or any other American flavor) ramen you can't follow the directions if you want it to taste flavorful. My recommendation for flavorful ramen: So, you boil the noodles for only 3 1/2 - 4 minutes (instead of the full 5) and once they are cooked pour out about 1/2 - 3/4 of the water before you add the seasoning packet. It will be much more delicious and flavorful! I hope this helps your future American ramen endeavors!
Hello guys! Here in Italy Nissin is very popular, also we have Oyakata brand and "Saikebon" by a brand that has the name changed in every Countries. My favourite is Soba curry by Nissin: I love it! じゃあ、またね!
Love watching this, the chicken one at 06:50 and the Beef one we can get in the UK, so it's good to know you like these too. I LOVE INSTANT NOODLES xxx
Here in the UK the demae Nissin are one of my favourites, especially the tonkotsu and the sesame ones. The Soba in a cup is very good as well, my favourite being the sukiyaki beef. Annoyingly though Europe's normal cup noodles seem to lack many toppings and are pretty low on quantity of what toppings you do get. Still though 98/100 I'd rather have over out Pot Noodle or Super Noodles.
Interesting to see the different ramens from different places. I am spoiled and only buy Sapporo Ichiban ramen. It’s more expensive but worth it. Don’t care for Maruchan and Top Ramen is ok. I want to pick up some of the instant ramen bowls that you guys shared previously. Have you tried the Ichiran instant ramen?
The "dry" Nissin we found around here (EU) are really well made, there's the pan option (the one you tried) and there's the cup you have to drain option 😋
Just a shame out cup noodles seem to be lacking in ingredients from what I've seen. My personal faves in the UK are the sukiyaki beef soba cup and a split between the tonkotsu and sesame demae noodles. (Actually one gripe, the tonkotsu soup base has sesame seeds in whereas the sesame noodles seems to only have sesame in its oil)
Here in Germany I often get the Nissin Yakisoba but we have 2 different ones both by Nissin and I actually like the other one better which doesn't have the "wet" sauce but uses some pulverized sauce to add as the ones you have do have some slightly bitter taste to them which the pulver version doesn't have but both are okay to eat, I usually add proper chili and some parsley though.
The reason why you do not find the Maruchan to have flavor is because there is no Monosodium Glutamate in it. And it is made with substandard ingredients.
Thanks for the fun taste test guys. I recently bought Nissin's Nissin Raoh Tonkotsu flavor and it was the best instant ramen I'd ever had. The noodles are so different from the stuff you get at the U.S. supermarkets. They seem fresh which is weird to say about a instant ramen but that was my take on them. It was delicious. I'd love to try the Momofuku brand. The noodles in that looked different and good also. Take care guys. ❤😊
i love ramen loved your video i found this really great ramen its called nongshim guksu soba it has a great gochujang sauce but i cant find it anymore if i find some i will send u some
You want that Maruchan ramen to be concentrated and salty. You have to let it sit and get cold. The broth will taste like nothing but salt. And yes the noodles will get big, soggy and taste like the broth. My little sister and I would do that all the time when we were little to make it taste different due to having to live off of it for so many meals in a row.
Those noodles that you bought in Hawaii in the United States those noodles are $600 they're the lowest crappies grade noodles ever they'll even after taste in your mouth
So interesting!! You both love noodles as much as I do!! I was so sad when Honolulu Immigration confiscated ALL of the ramen I brought back from Japan because it contained chicken or egg. They said due to the bird flu. This was in 2017. Do you know if that rule still stands?
Mmmmm, ramen! 😋 I think my favorites would be the same as Satoshi's. Because I have to watch my sodium intake, I usually discard the soup packets in favor of a homemade veggie stock to which I add lots of steamed vegetables. It's delicious and nutritious, but not very "authentic." Thanks for the review, guys. I love the behind-the-scenes footage. 💜💜
