I’ve seen that people have been told that dip powder is “healthier” for your nails rather than acrylic but in reality it’s not because dip powder is just finely milled acrylic💀

Yeah and from my experience you can use monomer with most dip powders

Really? So would gel tips be a better solution for trying to keep your natural nails healthy? My thumbs tend to crack and break at the corners.

Colors 4 Vana I’ve seen it advertised like that before but I really don’t know if it’s truly any better. With gel you have to be super careful not to flood your cuticles, leave it on your skin for long periods of time, or in general just over do it. Over the last year I developed contact dermatitis and that is no joke! It is super painful and comes in different forms. Which sucks since they’re so many cute designs I wanna do🥲

Colors 4 Vana it also might be worth checking out nail hardeners, or those nourishment polishes to help out with your nails.
