The Japanese Video Title says, How to make bubble nail and keep the side from not getting too fat. I watched the video and she’s trying to create a bubble nail that doesn’t make the side edge look fat when you are looking from the top. Trying to keep it looking slim from a top view. One down side of bubble nail is from the side view it will look very thick no matter what, but it’s trending since summer is approaching. Also thank you for all the reviews you do ❤ I love your videos.

A really helpful tip for me when using full cover soft gel tips, apply the tip 1-2mm away from the cuticle or even farther away from the cuticle if you want the nails to be longer! This actually helps you get the cuticle to look like you didn’t use tips at all because you fill in that gap with a builder gel or base coat and you don’t have to worry about shaping the cuticle area of the tip at all!! The technique is almost as if you were doing an infill instead of a new set and that really helps me to not get any lifting , I can go longer between fills, and the grow out is much less noticeable because the cuticle area is so much thinner and seamless!! I believe that is what the instructions say to do on the diami soft gel tips and other Korean brands of soft gel tips😊 After I learned about that method, I do the same thing with any brand of soft gel tips because it’s personally so much easier for me and I am much less likely to have excess gel overflow onto my cuticle because no matter how many times I do my own nails, I’m so bad at estimating how much product I need 😂 It also makes it easier for me to do a fill on myself because there is less lifting! I hope this helps anyone else who may have a similar problem with application or getting soft gel tips to last because I used to get lifting in about a week but now, I can go 4+ weeks ❤

I wonder if a solid gel would work better for making the actual bubbles? I love watching you try these new techniques. And seeing the fails and different methods you’ve tried is the best way to learn. ❤Some people take out the fails when they do their videos, so they make it look so easy when it’s totally not.

The struggle is real. Its easy to get discouraged when your nail designs don't come out but you kept your energy up. Kudos for that.

Hey! Just wanted to say for anyone who does their nails that you don’t need to take all of the gel off your nails. To keep your nails safe and healthy, just file off product that is discolored/lifting from the nail plate. Only file it all the way off if you plan to keep them with no product on them. In that case, you will want to add oil to your nails and use a fine grit to lightly file down the thin base layer. The oil helps prevent friction.

I really think you could've got the syringe method by trying different curing lengths in your big lamp because then you'll know exactly how long to cure for. I love that you didn't give up though and the one was a great one. 💜

Hi evie! I saw a bubble nail tutorial by shuninail on RU-vid and I think that was very helpful for understanding how to do these nails. The main thing is when when you’re using a clear gel, don’t insert the syringe until the top layer is cured so that the bubbles don’t escape from the gel

Omg please make this a series! Edit: I commented before watching the video and wanted to add that I struggle with the jello jello peel off base too! I’m actually currently not using mine cause I have to regrow my nails out it damaged them so bad. One thing I notice though is jounail never seems to use a nail primer or file her natural nails, just buffs them with a buffing block and then puts base coat right away. I always used a primer with my jello jello before & used the efile to buff. When I try it again I’m gonna see if doing it that way is easier, cause the brand has stated to do less “prep” when using the product for easier removal. I just hope this method doesn’t make the base coat last only like a day or two. I bought it so I could peel off AND get a somewhat good amount of wear. We’ll see. But ur right it’s not as easy as it seems in her videos!! Lol

Please do be cautious of gel allergies. Last year, I had my first reaction, and from there on, it was a nightmare. My skin on my finger cracked, bled, peeled, and it took months to fully heal. I've found a slight way around by putting on press ons then decorating and reinforcing with gel on top. But do not touch the skin or natural nail with gel. Thanks Evie for all the great content!!

Just a little tip instead of using the tip of the brush to ombre use it completely flat it changed my life when someone showed me its so easy and turns out perfect. Beautiful nails again love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤

I saw this technique the other day somewhere and I knew you'd try it 💕 The first time I ever used poly gel (with dual forms) I got a bunch of bubbles in the second nail I did I think I accidentally lifted the form and pushed it back down while trying to get my hand under the lamp and it created perfect bubbles in the nail... might be worth a try 😉

This style looks so cute, but it feels so weird after all the time I have spent trying to make sure there are no bubbles in and under gels, to suddenly make a bubble purposefully lol! At least Evie did this over a tip which makes me feel better about it!! Edit: thank you Evie for saying what I keep thinking about the irony of the bubbles😂!
