I am so glad you love it!! I didn’t think it was bad at all 😌 Omggggg I knew it was something different years ago! Wish they’d kept that as an option too. Great ideas 😍💡 - deffo think it’s fab they have options, I just think for a world wide company they could have more!! X

It is a religion. They are very reluctant to have any meal with out animal products. Not just mcdonalds but so many restaurants so just having any options at all is a real improvment. The vegetarians don't help much either with all the cheese and eggs it stops people getting to try an actual vegan meal and feel the difference. It is like Mcdonalds have apple and grape slices. Vegetarians should just say ok great and sit there with some healthy options and get stared at by everyone. That would get the kids interested for sure. If you want a mcplant then it still going to look like a beef burger so best to take it home and eat it in secret but if your in the restaurant why not go with the fresh salad and apple slices with fruit juice etc?

Pita bread actually makes the best wraps, Mediterranean cuisine palette wise works super well with a vegetarian diet. I recommend finding a good Middle Eastern joint and getting a falafel wrap, that guy probably couldn't cook a good kebab if he wanted to.

There is probably the apple pie and the fresh salad, fruit slices, juice etc. Why should a veggie option be a meat substitute? Shouldn't we be trying to promote something healthy especially in mcdonalds? If you think about it things have changed quite a bit already like the milk shakes don't seem to be very popular anymore. Apple and grape slices? why not? The problem with the mc plant is it still looks like a beef burger. I suppose if a lot of people ate them then maybe it would look like everyone was eating plant based but as it stands there is an opportunity to stand out with something healthy looking.

It’s vegan technically (in the U.K.) but it’s not cooked separately so it depends on how strict you are or the reasons for going vegan. If u have allergies to any animal products eg milk definitely do not eat it as there will be a small amount of animal products on/in it even though it’s technically vegan by ingredients because of contamination

there is the black coffee. Nobody is going to think you are drinking milk if you have that. I quite like some oat milk but itn't really worth the money so I mainly have black coffee even at home. Oat milk isn't really going to improve my nutrition apart from maybe b12 but I can get nutritional yeast for the b vitamins.
