Trying More Mardi Gras Food On A Day Universal Studios Reached Capacity & Universal Studios Store!

In today’s vlog we head to Universal Studios Florida for some more Mardi Gras fun! We tried some menu items we haven’t tried yet this season and a couple of things we know we love! We started with a trip into the Mardi Gras Tribute store, where we picked up a crabmeat hand pie and an andouille sausage in a puff pastry. Both were just as good as last time! Then it was time for the Mardi Gras food booths to open to headed back to the Germany booth. But before we made it back to the booth they announced that both parks had reached capacity. We weren’t surprised at all, the parks have been reaching capacity around this time (11-12) all Spring Break long. We had the vegan bratwurst and the warm pretzel with spicy mustard cheese dipping sauce. Both were awesome! We loved the mustard cheese sauce! Jackson loved the pretzel! Lastly we had the jerk chicken and the jerk jackfruit from the Bahamas booth. The jerk jackfruit was the spiciest thing we had the entire festival! It was served with a scotch bonnet pepper salsa and marinated in a jerk seasoning. It was delicious! Then we head out into CityWalk and take a quick look at the new Universal Studios Store! We can't believe it's open already! It's huge and has
several themed areas. Some are theme to Harry Potter, Jurassic World, The Simpsons, Universal Florida merch and more! It looks great and is an awesome addition to Citywalk for sure! We hope you had fun hanging out with us today! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Just a question, if you guys go inside stores & touch items, why won’t you go on indoor rides? No hate I’m just genuinely curious if there’s a reason for it 🥰

I think because if they’re in a store they can come and go as quickly as they want, or walk out if it gets too crowded or people get to close to them. Indoor queue lines you’re stuck in them with people more closely standing next to you and you’re spending a significantly longer time in the indoor queue then in the ride. I don’t think it has to do with touching things I think it’s more the time they’re inside in close proximity to other people and they can’t necessarily leave easily if they get uncomfortable

I believe its a raven rather then a crow which matches the movies but in the books the animal for Ravenclaw is an eagle. Ravens and crows look very similar, so easy to mix the 2. A raven is bigger then a crow. Thank you so much for showing the magical part of the store.

@@haycwon your family is right. It’s miserable here in the summer. I always tell folks the best time to come to Disney and the other parks is January, the week after the marathons. There are no crowds, the weather is good, most folks are at work and in school. Wait times for rides are shorter. That’s if you don’t mind the kids taking their “Winter” Break after the holidays..

We were also at Universal on this day and was in the express pass line at Minions around 10:15. We only waited 15 minutes! Definitely worth having the Express Pass!

Our spring break starts Good Friday and runs Easter week. I’m in Delaware. We went to City Walk on Thursday. Arrived about 11am and Universal Studios was the only park available. By the time we left about 2pm all parks were at capacity.

I was here just this week! There were super long lines to get in but the thankfully I was staying at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel so we got to get in. Waited 2 hours for Hagrids but the Express Passes are so worth it! They half or quarter the queue time and it’s amazing!

You guys eating the spicy food cracked us all up here. Thanks for that! Please please get a camera with better stabilizing. I just keep getting so sick from how shaky the videos are at the parks, but I won't stop watching! Haha. Can you use a gimbal maybe? Unsure of spelling. Yeah when we were there a couple weeks ago, we couldn't believe the lines to Richters. We said the same exact thing! Lol So many better food options! We loved the empanada and guava chicharito! Ooh jerk chicken bowl was pretty good as well. The pineapple salsa was soo good just not enough! Thanks for the great advice about Mardi Gras and the lanyard! I gave you credit when surveyed.
