Antil & Girisha taste tested some of the most expensive wines. Disclaimer- Both of them are NOT Experts! :D Aapko kaunsi wine pasand hai, Red ya White? Comments mein batana. #drinkresponsibly
A couple of things to add to your video : bottle aging a wine (specially highly tannic reds) is a thing (it makes the tannins softer and brings out the taste of the wine even more - mostly done for good wines) ; you don't need to finish a bottle on the same day (re-cork + refrigerate for 3-4 day life but best is if you have a vacuum seal, refrigeration slows the chemical process of wine mixing with air & vacuum seal remove the air from the bottle so it can be stored easily for 10 days at least); it is ALWAYS a good idea to let a wine breathe for at least 30-60 mins to bring out the flavor (you can also decant it); it's a personal preference to have reds slightly chilled and whites quite chilled - always pops out more flavor & acidity; finally, wines are prohibitively expensive in India - in South Africa we get such awesome quality for just Rs 500! Australia is particularly famous for Shiraz/Syrah. Many good Shiraz have that spicy/black-white-pepper flavor/finish - it is very distinct, specially if the wine is served at a good temperature and has been breathed. Northern Rhone region in France also has great Shiraz but they can be expensive. Next time, if you can, try different grapes like Primitivo/Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Cinsault etc. I feel that you would enjoy these more - specially the Primitivo and Nebbiolo as they can be more fruit-forward than Cab Sav etc.
Red wine is best around 13/15 deg celcius. Considering Indian climate, it should be refrigerated for some time. White wine should be around 7 deg celcius.
@@santoshbaguant3535 yeah, that's what I meant with "chilled" and "quite chilled" - I don't particularly believe in exact temperatures as it's a preference and depends on many many factors!
@@nitingupta8605 When it comes to wine, temperature is very important, as storing it in wrong temperature as well will easily spoil the wine faster. bottle aging will not work well at all if the temperature is wrong. Agreed, for enjoying wine there is no exact temperature but I found that reds are best between 13-18 degs
@@santoshbaguant3535 agreed though I wouldn't know anything about storing wines as I'm very new to wines (and alcohol in general) and have only tried lots of South African wines (mostly reds and mostly Syrah/Shiraz). I'm too impatient at this stage to store. Let me get used to the T20 and then I might think of getting into Tests later in life. I also agree that personally reds are best chilled. I actually did A/B comparison and found the chilled ones much better (for me it brings out the red fruit, tannins + acidity better as well as improves the wine overall).
Nitin ji aapne baaki to bohot gyaan de diya Jo shi ho skta hai… Bss ye bta dijiye liquor India me mehngi keese hai for me personally India me bohot zyaada cheap hai
Fun video as always... but i was not expecting woodbridge to be up here and be as expensive as it was. Very common and very affordable as far as wines go in the US
Fratelli makes only Dry wines I visited their Vinyard and that's what they told me had a tour there and tasted the different wines and I really liked the Fratelli's white wine Chardonnay I don't know why people prefer Australian or any other when we have so amazing Indian wines just a thought, I mean one must try Fratelli for once at least and then decide till then have fun cheers.

Your videos are fun to watch, like taking a trip down the memory lane. I would certainly like more wine videos and it would be great if you could make a dedicated video on top rose wines.
Wine should be served at some standard temperature , to get flavour, white wine to be served at cold temperature and red wine to be served as room temp .
