Canned pork brains can be found in the US,usually in the heartland ,they are eaten with scrambled eggs.Every youtuber that ever tried them tried to eat them cold out of the can,so of course they were disgusting.

Most dishes like that which are better out of the oven I transfer the food into an oven and microwave safe dish. I microwave for the full recommended time so its fully cooked and then finish in the oven til it looks nice and crispy.

@@MrDougiew1 Difficult to explain in a way that's acceptable to RU-vid. Check what a bunch of sticks used for tinder is called. Check the three letter word used in Britain for cigarette. When I lived in Wales, our local market had cafes that sold these products with peas. I absolutely loved them. They were made by a butcher within the market. We used to have the Brains product at home. Lovely! Thank you for the memories. I had to rewrite this post as they didn't like the F word as you said.

Nearly 70 years ago I was at Barry Island, along with peas and gravy, every eating place was selling them.

I used to eat them when I was a child. They go well with mushy or garden peas and potatoes. Proper 80's dish that is. Also goes well on a sub roll

I was thinking it looked like a mini haggis, the way it crumbled. Got me feeling hungry.

Gaz, I don't know whether you're being coy or your plea of ignorance about the word that YT won't allow in the title, but it means a Gay man! It used to be more in America back in the 50's through to the late 70's, not so much here! I was surprised to hear you mention checking the temperature of the oven, for the simple reason I have always been impressed with how good it appears to be, I would buy one myself but the internal size is too small for my needs! Glad to see you're health is improving, well done!

I've just got an addon on Firefox it reinstates the dislike numbers I can't understand the 50 dislikes for this Gareth, just keep doing what you do. Honest reviews from a real non sponsered person is what we need. 👍
