Agreed, he left because he wasn't healthy mentally and physically he was having issues. If he wants to give it a go I say go for it but if not, that's OK too. You don't NEED to be competing to do gymnastics find the fun in it again.. I'm struggling with that right now myself, I got a bit burnt out. So find the fun in it again 1st. Because the main thing for you mentally is to have fun and enjoy what your doing 1st then the work doesn't seem like such a struggle. I think that was your hardship mentally you lost the joy of gymnastics, you lost what it is about gymnastics that makes you WANT to do it. And you started questioning why am I doing this? should I I doing this? Once you find the fun and what gymnastics means to you maybe competition will follow. If not then just finding the enjoyment again is reward enough :) just like what happened to Kaitlyn Ohashi.

Thing is gymnast get better as they get older. He should make a come back

@@TheAnonyy not so sure about that since there's any variables to why someone would retire etc. I do see what you mean in a way, in theory with time you'd become better.

Yesss, I've read that men's and women's gymnastics have different requirements for their levels, eg girls/women (WAG) on vault in level 7 do different things than the boys/men (MAG) do on their level 7, etc..would be super interesting!!

@@amyj4106 Women do round of back handspring in level three or four, men don’t until level 5, or sometimes even 6. They just lag behind until about level 8, then it evens out because of the strength based skills in MAG

Practice, do things carefully (your injury wasn’t a simple scratch) and go back to “The Discipline“ (that evil devilish bitch). You Still Have IT 🤜🏻🤛🏻 fist bump. And btw, the age for female and male gymnasts, sadly for us girls is very different. Nile, I’d say, still has 4-5 good years. Maybe more if he becomes a high bar specialists

muscle memory is 100% a thing too. Gymnasts seem to have an incredible body awareness and muscle memory to perform such skills years later with little warm-up.

He´s an inspiration to the world and I´m so glad he and his friends have all these channels and create awesome content... and it´s free for us to watch... and I think Nile´s still pretty down to earth and he´s still an inspiration to many many people... so what exactly are you complaining about? About someone working hard everyday and creating consistent content with the skills he has build and he loves to do?! What´s stopping you frrom doing what you love and working hard and doing well yourself?

Hes deffo put some size on again. Hes lookin really well. Glad it wasnt just me that noticed
