The Maybelline Foundation Wore Well For 6 Hours or so & then got a bit patchy/cakey around the nose. I didnt use a setting spray, but I can say it wore better than most stick foundations Ive tried:)
Thank you so much for the update. So help. Would be awesome to have follow ups on foundation going forward. I have skin like yours so I really tryout like everything you recommend. I did have a question! So I bought the two faced born this way power bc you had tried it in a video. I had a question... how do you get the product out? That heart plastic thing is cute but the plastic cover makes it difficult bc it plugs the holes. Did you remove that when you used this product?
Finally! Someone else who can't wear the hourglass vanish sticks! I honestly tried wearing it so many different ways and it does exactly the same. Here I was devo'd thinking it was something I was doing wrong but how you explained how it looks good for an hour then slides off and goes patchy is spot on!
Omg regarding the Hourglass stick foundation: SAME! It looks like perfection upon application, but it literally wipes right off as if I hadn't set it with layers and layers of powder lol.

I bought this Flamingo palette and have been loving it. I have noticed some mattes need some extra packing but I don't mind much it's a beautiful palette still. The blues are my favorite. This was my very first VV palette as well.

Maybelline master prime in the purple bottle is my favorite! It's like a lotion consistency and blurs and smooths. I love it. Maybelline has some amazing products. Eyebrow pomades, gel liners, foundations, primers, concealers like they're a great drugstore brand I think

I’ve seen others give up with the lack of pigmentation in that Palette.You did an amazing job for struggling, because you look beautiful. I don’t have any Violet Voss and I’m not inclined. I just preordered the pigments from Coloured Rain; I hope you review them. I’ve been trying to be more bold with color:)

Thanks for the video. You're the only "big" RU-vidr I watch (more than five thousand subs). You told me to check out Sephora a couple months ago. I recently bought, from Sephora, a Dior lippie and also one from YSL. I am in love w/ them. They are a game changer for sure! So pigmented. I will definitely purchase more. Those two brands and certain MAC formulas are really all I will purchase in bullet lipsticks. I found other things as well...thanks for the rec.

YAS girl! I'm glad you and I have the same opinion on the Huda powder. The smell doesn't bother me at all and I don't even think it's that "strong". I've seen other influencers choke on the smell and I'm like "Howwww?" LOL!

I almost bought the Violet Voss palette, but after thinking about it, I probably wouldn't wear the bright shades. Those Laura Lee Lip colors are gorgeous! The one you are wearing is my kind of shade. I always enjoy watching your videos. Your my Sister-in-makeup. Haha 😂😂😍😍💖💖

I agree with you about the pallet, I was very disappointed. That was my first violet Voss pallet to not a good first impression for me and I bought a liquid lip to and didn't like it also was very drying.

I’m so glad you mentioned the liquid lip problem, I thought I was the only one. What do you do to fix/prevent that issue? I’ve tried numerous lip liners and liquid lip formulas and I always have that problem. I have a huge lip collection and I NEVER wear them, even with a full face, I’ll just rock chapstick because I’m so self conscious of the “butthole” lip look that I’ll run to the bathroom every 2 minutes to touch up, and make sure I don’t look like a fool 😂😭
Hmm pretty eyeshadows look but I do agree with you about the pastel color . I would of been disappointed if I put out a lot of money for the palette. I do drink coffee but I am sensitive to caffeine.

Try the elf defense spf primer that they just came out with...I think you would dig that if your oily..I’m combo and it matted me out lol plus spf 50 can’t beat that for $13 love you vids ✌🏻✨

Honestly though, could you be having trouble with the pigmentation because some of the colors you chose are complimentary colors, and are opposites on the color wheel?

Delilah Pearce Well I love that palette. It's not a palette to do smoke deep eyes! It's to do Sumner looks. I think it's spot on on the colors. I've been using every day for the past 2 weeks.
The palette is so lack luster 😩. I think that’s what you were trying to say. I was having so much trouble trying to get my order to go though because I use PayPal for all my orders . So I honestly just gave up and after seeing all the reviews I changed my mind on trying to purchase it from Sephora. The colors are so vibrant in the pan. But the translation from the pan to your actual lids are so lack luster considering how vibrant they do look in the pan consumers buy it so it actually translates that way onto the eyes. So it is a disappointment.

I'm kinda bummed about the flamingo palette :( I would love to find a pigmented palette with gorgeous yellows, oranges, peaches, corals and teals. If someone could recommend one then I'm all ears
I just pre ordered pigments, the new set, from Coloured Rain that coming later this month. I like CR’s shadows, but this will be my first time with pigments. I, too am looking for bright, pops of color.
