Why are people complaining about Alfie getting a new drone? It's his money which he has worked hard for by creating a successful channel . Now he has the money he should be able to buy whatever he wants without being judged.

I don't have an issue with you tubers making money because in this era this kind of occupation gets more attention than actual professions, and it's just the direction society is going for some reason. However, it's ridiculous to me that "fans" defend these people so much. Honestly to say that what they do is "hard work" is hilarious. They have teams that do a lot of work FOR them. They're basically getting paid for ideas and just filming themselves living their lives.
They have teams yes but they don't have people to edit and film for them, people to go do interviews and photoshoots for them, they do more than just filming their lives.
guys, if you won the lottery, you would spend your money on whatever you want. Lottery money is not earned, its won, but yet you would not moan about what someone spends that on. so why do you care so much anyway. Its money, weather you think their occupation means its well earned or not well earned is just your opinion. At the end of the day, it is their occupation so they deserve to spend their earnings on whatever they want.
Zoe H Have you ever edited a video before? It's not hard, it's just time consuming. Going to interviews is not "hard work." I understand what you're trying to say but these examples are not a testament to the "hard work" youtubers do. I'm not saying they shouldn't get money for being internetainers, it's become a business and they put out content weekly, so yes, it makes perfect sense that they're making money for their ideas. I'm saying it's just youtube.
I'm pretty sure filming videos for 3 channels, trying to edit them and upload them with a close deadline while trying to produce merchandise and stuff would be pretty hard.

You talked about not making as many videos because you're developing products to sell. But you wouldn't even be in the position to make those products, or sell them for your own gain, if it wasn't for your viewers. You should never forget the reason why you're in the position you are. If it wasn't for your viewers, you wouldn't have a job, pay them the respect they deserve.
That gets ridiculous. They are doing all the work while others sit on their ass to judge. Yes, we watch them which helps but they don't owe us anything. When you say it like that it just makes it not fun for them anymore. So don't act like they owe you their whole world because they don't.
+david robinson The thing you need to remember is not all viewers are in that much of a need to be gratified. They already know their content creator appreciates their collective viewership, and they know what their audience has made possible for them. Just don't forget that they are humans too, and need time and breaks to effectively juggle the other responsibilities in their life, they don't owe the world to us, they provide us content and we provide them views.
+david robinson You are right ss! Plus, if you actually watched his videos you would know that in nearly all of his vlogs, he is constantly saying thank you for all of the support ect ect. In fact Alfie seems one of the most grateful RU-vidrs out there, so get your facts straight before moaning at him. It's because of him that he has so many viewers anyway, he entertains and makes us smile everyday with his vlogs and videos, or most of us at least...
I don't think he o'wes' his viewers anything. But there should be a priority of making videos rather than making hoodies with their logo on, or just using their name to sell any product. You seem slightly deluded that youtubers are doing all of this for the people who watch their videos. Very few actually do. In no way am I saying Alfie is the worst with this, but he's no way near the best either.

Exactly, some people are horrible to him. He has worked really hard to get where he is now and if he wants to spend money on another drone, let him. He should spend it on whatever he wants especially if it makes him happy
It frustrates me how easily Alfie can just spend money on things he doesn't need. This isn't a hate comment I have just noticed recently that Alfie is just spending his money so freely on things he doesn't need.

The reactions get even faker every video. This is exactly as Pewd's was saying about specific RU-vidr's and Alfie is the perfect example of it. The constant "PLEASE SPONSOR ME NIKE" is really pathetic now on every video, every channel by every RU-vidr associated with Gleam. Let's not forget the "Please buy my crap that smell like cat urine because I'm poor". You can tell this is what the Zalfie RU-vid Red will end up being.

***** His RU-vid Drama and was tweeting it yesterday about all the youtuber's suddenly creating 10:01, 20:01, 30 minute videos all of a sudden because they now begging people to watch their entire videos so they get paid per minute on the RED. Same as this garbage is nothing more than what would be classed as a sponsor type video which under the new rules will be eligible to have your channel banned. Just the same as this in the UK if it features products of any kind is supposed to have AD in the title and description by law, paid or unpaid.

Why is everyone hating on Alfie with his Drone? He's allowed to spend his money the way he wants to, damn, if it were me, I would be doing the same thing :/ I'm proud of Alfie, he's worked so hard and he deserves to just spend his money the way he wants to :)
So many of you are seriously so judgemental and it's terrible. So what if Alfie bought another drone? How does it concern you? God, there are probably tons of people out there with a great amount of money who buy things they probably will only use once but the only reason people complain is because he shows it on camera and because he's famous. If Justin Bieber or idk, some other A-list celebrity bought a drone even if they already have one no one would complain. Point is, he can buy whatever he wants because he can afford it. It is his money that he has earned. Being a RU-vidr is like every other career where you do things for others and gain money in return. Sure, he could give his other drone to someone else but if he chooses not to then that's his choice. I don't understand why so many of you are so offended at him buying another drone.
